•CHAPTER 20•
Tuesday
Matt's POV
I went to go see Mister Ray alone to let him know that the job was done even though I wasn't the one that shot him. Kass was still in the hospital, but shit seem like it was lookin' bad for his ass.
I got up to the door of his office but the guards wouldn't let me in. "I'm here to see Ray man, can y'all get the fuck out my way?" Them niggas just stood there like they ain't hear me.
I tried moving them out the way and they pushed me back so I pushed they ass back and that's when they pulled they fire out on me , but I had mine out too.
Ray came out the office laughing at us, "Aight fellas that's enough. Put your little toys away. What's Matt."
I nodded my head and tucked my gun away.
"Come inside, you know I always got time for you." He opened the door to his office and I stepped inside. The lady from the other day was sitting there but she got up and went to the back.
I took a seat in one of the chairs that was in front of his desk.
"Drop the gun on the desk, you know it's never that type of party when you see me." He said looking at me as he placed his weapon on the desk.
"The guards got the heat. Tell them to drop the shit then."I looked back and mugged the nigga that pushed me.
"That's their job to have em. Don't worry about them let's focus on the task at hand. So who ass do I need to beat for not making sure this nigga was not breathing? Is it you?" He asked getting irritated, I thought he would be happy to see the nigga was damn near on his death bed.
"I don't know who shot his ass but it wasn't me. Let's just try to take his all shit while he down. I'm pretty sure his people gon pull the plug on em soon." I shrugged.
"Whoever it was didn't do a good job of making sure the nigga was gone. Where is Tee and Huncho?" Why them niggas make you come here alone?"
"Huncho out of town doing some work for me and Tee... that nigga dead." I shook my head still in disbelief.
Ray laughed and pulled out his cigar, "I see the wrong niggas always ending up dead. Y'all must not take y'all business seriously on the Westside."
"How bout you kill that nigga yoself then? I'm done wit this shit! I ain't wanna work wit yo ass no way. Lexi talked me into this shit. I got my own motion and I don't need you." I snapped at him.
"Woah lil nigga calm down. I know you prolly hurt that yo bro gone but don't take this shit out on me. I'm here to help you and yo crew. I know you carry yo own weight and shit but I'm here to triple the money you making now." He said lighting his cigar.
"Where was yo ass at when I needed help years ago my nigga? When a nigga was just a kid trynna make it out here in these streets without a father." I stared at him and the stupid ass face he was making. This nigga thought I ain't know who he was. "All these fuckin' years I searched high and low for yo punk ass and you was no where to be found. Now you wanna open up a club and hire my baby mama to come work for yo sorry ass in this raggedy piece of shit you call a strip club nigga."
"It's not even like that son." He said in a serious tone.
"I know you sent Lexi around the both of us to get closer to me. How fuckin' stupid do you think I am pops? After all I am your son and I'm always five steps ahead. Why you think I agreed to do this fucked up ass business with you?" I mugged him and he just sat there quiet, and still looking goofy. A few moments later the woman came from behind the door and she had tears rolling down her face.
