•CHAPTER 34•
Saturday
Selena's POV
"Did you call mom?" Sevyn cried in pain, holding onto her stomach. She felt like she was going into labor even though she wasn't that far along, the baby might be a preemie. We were currently at the hospital and all Sevyn wanted was our mother.
"She's on her way okay, just stay calm and breathe." I tried to help her.
"I don't want anything to happen to my baby Lena, please this can't happen!" She cried out and I felt so bad for my baby sister. This was her first pregnancy and first she lost the father of her child and secondly she was having complications with her baby.
I grabbed her and causing her to squeeze it really tight because of how much pain she was in. A few moments later my mother arrived. "How is she holding up?" She asked me setting down her purse on one of the chairs and giving Sevyn her immediate attention.
"The nurse says the doctor would be in here shortly , they gave her an epidural and she may have to start pushing soon meaning the baby is coming prematurely." I explained to her.
"Mama, I don't want anything to happen to her." Sevyn couldn't stop the waterworks almost making me cry. I hated seeing her sad or in pain, she was like my child too in a way and I just didn't want her to go through anything bad.
"Nothing is going to happen don't you talk like that Sevyn." My mom tried to speak positively about the situation at hand.
"Tee isn't here with me, my baby girl possibly won't make it everything is going bad ma!" Sevyn yelled.
"Shhh...you be quiet talking like that. The baby is going to be fine. You know Tee is watching over you and her, God is too so stop all that bad talk about this child."
The doctor finally came in with a few other nurses and about an hour later, Sevyn gave birth to her baby girl. She named her Sarai Telia Macon. The baby was so small, they had to take her to the NICU and needed special care. Sevyn couldn't stop crying but I didn't know if it was form joy or sadness.
"You okay Sev?" I handed her a cup of water.
She nodded but didn't say anything as she played with the bracelet that Tee had left her. She added a heart charm to it with his ashes inside, I just knew she misses him so much. This would've been a really special moment for the both of them but only she was here to witness the birth of her first child.
"You did so good honey, I am so proud of you!" Our mom smiled trying to make her feel better about the situation but we knew it'd take some time for her to feel better and recover.
"I'm thankful for you two. I don't know how I would've gotten through this pregnancy or Tee's death without you two, but you guys helped me through it all, even Shiloh. I love you guys so much." Sevyn said to us and we pulled her in for a group hug.
"We love you too! Congratulations on your baby girl, she's beautiful." I told her giving her a kiss on the forehead. "You know I have to work, I'll be back tomorrow to check on you and bring you some clothes because I know you hate that hospital gown!" I laughed at the face she made.
"Okay, thank you Lena. You know me so well. See you later, and tell Kass I said hello."
I gave my mom and sister one last hug before I left to go to Covergirls in which Kass was already there so I'd be meeting him. I picked up some food for the both of us before arriving to my destination.
