Chapter 52

Prerna's POV

The airport terminal buzzed with the excitement of travelers embarking on their journeys, but amidst the chaos, Abhay and I stood side by side, our eyes fixed on the departure gate ahead.

If you are wondering what's happening, Today is 7th February means Rose Day, and as It is our first Valentine's Week together so we are about to embark on a romantic journey to Goa.

We can term it as our honeymoon too.

As we queued up to board the aircraft, Abhay couldn't help but stealing glances at me, marveling at my beauty and that makes my eyes sparkled with anticipation.

He reached out to squeeze my hand for a silent reassurance of our shared excitement.

I smiled back at him, my heart is fluttering with affection. "I can't express the excitement I am having. It is going to be my first experience in flight."

Abhay grinned, his eyes alight with mischief. "Try not to vomit on me, Ghost lady."

"You are a Ghost, not me.", I hits his arm and he laughed. He always do these teasing to me and I like them too.

The announcement to board the flight interrupted our conversation, and we moved in the flight and settled into our seats.

"So, any special plans for our time in Goa?" I asked, my gaze filled with curiosity.

Abhay leaned back in his seat, a mischievous grin in his eyes. "Well, I thought we could start by exploring the beaches, maybe indulge in some water sports. And..."

"And,...?", I asked.

"And, enjoying our Valentine Week on beaches and Fairs.", He said while playing with my hairs.

I snatched my hairs from his hands and asked, "Nothing else...?"

"I didn't forgot about that. Of course we will try Goan Food... Foody Panda...", He pulled my cheeks.

My eyes lit up at the mention of food. "I can't wait to taste authentic Goan dishes. And maybe we could go on a sunset cruise too, it would be so romantic."

"You are getting so much romantic these days... huh?", He raised his eyebrows at me.

"I am just keeping you on your toes, hubby. Gotta make sure you don't forget how lucky you are to have such a beautiful romantic girl as your partner-in-crime!", I said with a mischievous grin.

As the flight attendants began their safety demonstration, we exchanged excited glances at eachother. When the aircraft was taking off, I felt some strange sensations in my stomach. So, I grabbed Abhay's hands tightly.

Once the aircraft was airborne, Abhay turned to me and said, "Prerna, please cut your nails sometime. Are you a vampire? Do you want to drink my blood?"

I looked at his hand which I was grabbing tightly. My nails were dug into his hands. "Sorry.", I bite my tongue and caressed his hand softly.

A smile was tugging at his lips and he asked, "So, tell me, what's your favorite memory of us together?"

I think for a moment before a fond smile graced my lips. "Remember when we were coming from Bhopal. We stopped near a restaurant and then walked together in the park."

Abhay nodded, his eyes reflecting the warmth of our shared memories. "That was one of my favorite moments too. Just being with you, and having icecream together for the first time."

I remembered every second of that day, "That was a special moment when you made me sit on swing and I hugged you very first time."

"Yeah, And there we got our first awkward embarrassing moment too.", He said.
