Los Angeles has so many beautiful views, but Lucy Chen's favorites always included the beautiful blueness of the ocean. As she drove along the water, she thought about how beautifully sparkly and blue the water was, and then she reached her apartment, climbed into her bed, and was greeted by her absolute favorite shade of blue: Tim Bradford's eyes. "Morning, sleepy head."
"Hey," he murmured barely awake yet still smiling. "How was your hike?"
"Great. I missed you, though."
Tim shuffled to press her back into the mattress and sit up on all fours on top of her. "You don't have to miss me right now, so what do you want to do?"
"Can we go to the beach?" She recalled driving past the water and envisioning spending the day with her favorite person at one of her favorite places in the world.
He was not at all expecting for her to say that; he assumed that since they were in bed, she would want to do something that involved minimal to zero clothing instead of leaving home to go somewhere else. "Y-you want to go to the beach? You know I hate the ocean."
"I know, but we do all sorts of things I don't like to do, because I love you. Come on, babe, please?"
"Lucy..." she was wearing that adorable pout that he could never say no to. "Maybe," was all he was willing to agree to at the moment.
She squirmed in her joy beneath him as she grinned. "Maybe? I'll take it."
"Doesn't mean I'm going IN the water. I'm mostly agreeing to go with you, so I can see you in a bikini."
"A bikini is basically just a bra and panties."
"So?"
"You help me take this off, and you can see me in one right now," she suggested coyly and tugged at the hem of her t shirt.
Tim dropped his hands to the waistband of her leggings and reached to hook his fingers into the top of her panties as well before he started pulling both down together. "If you think I'm stopping at seeing you in a bikini right now, you're wrong."
Lucy chuckled. "Tim! I have to take a shower, and we said we were going to be productive on our day off. Come on!"
"Oh, I plan to be very productive," he kissed her cheek then down to her jawline and her neck.
"Productive my ass," she snickered and helped him rid herself of her pants the rest of the way.
"A work out is a very productive use of our time. Regular cardio is imperative to maintain our peak performance as cops, Officer Chen," Tim explained and reached for her t shirt.
She threw her hands up and arched her back to help him take her shirt off. "Cardio? That's what you're calling it, Sergeant Bradford? You're unbelievable."
"Does that mean you want me to stop?" He asked as he started unzipping the front of her sports bra.
Lucy loved how dark his eyes had gotten in his lust. "No, keep going." She ran her fingers through his short hair and shut her eyes as his mouth grew fiercer as it traveled lower down her body.
Their conversation about going to the beach had been put on hold for a bit, since Tim was being quite distracting in the best way.

After shift one day, as the sun began to set, Lucy took Tim's hand and suggested, "Let's drive around for a little and take the long way home."
He helped her step up into the passenger seat of his truck and replied, "Yeah, I miss driving with you sometimes." He walked around to enter from the driver's side.
