Third person perspective:
January 17th 1979
Sirius Black stood in the doorway of his girlfriend's room, watching her as she dressed the bed. He bit his nails nervously as thoughts ran through his head about what he was going to say. He wondered if she would hate him?
Eventually, she turned around and jumped at the sight of Sirius staring at her from her doorway. "Jesus Padfoot, you scared the living shit out of me!" She exclaimed. "Who even let you in?"
Sirius pushed himself off of the doorway that he was leaning on. "Your mum," he said, walking into the room. "We need to talk Al." He stood into front of her while she sat on the bed, looking up at him.
Aaliyah swallowed harshly. "Yeah, we do actually," she mumbled, but as she opened her mouth to say something, Sirius interrupted her.
"I'm gay," he blurts out. "And I'm sorry, but a guy and girl relationship isn't exactly 'gay.'"
Aaliyah stares straight at him and started laughing. "You- you think that I didn't know that?" She says through laughter.
Sirius blinks at her. "You knew?"
Aaliyah looks up at him, the smile fading slightly from her face. "Of course I knew! Well, I didn't know that you were gay, but I knew that you were into guys."
Sirius' jaw drops open. "WHAT!?" He screams. "YOU KNEW AND YOU DIDN'T THINK TO TELL ME!?"
Aaliyah starts laughing even harder. "Wait, you didn't know!?"
"No! I didn't know!" Sirius shouts, glaring at Aaliyah as she doubles over with laughter. After a few minutes, Aaliyah sits up straight again. "So, what do we do now?" Sirius asks her.
Aaliyah looks at Sirius as if he's stupid. "We break up, you dumbass." Suddenly her face drops in realization. "We break up..." she mumbles, staring at the floor. She swallows the lump in her throat and blinks back her tears. "I'm happy for you," she says with a weak smile. She stands up and grabs Sirius by the shoulders. "I am seriously happy for you."
Sirius smiles back at her and pulls her into a tight hug. "Thank you," he whispers in her ear. Aaliyah nods and pulls away. "Um- I should- I should go..." Sirius mutters awkwardly. He rushes out of the room, leaving Aaliyah staring at the door. She turns around and spots the positive pregnancy test on her bedside locker. She sighs and rubs her flat stomach with one hand.
