"Da-" mom cut him off "Don't you dare cuss in front of those children!" my dad looked at me and glared. "That boy is worse than me why do you think I kicked him out. He can't keep his grades up he hangs out with horrible people and he told me some shi-" mom glared at him and said, "Get. Out." he glanced back at me and Darius and left with a loud slam of the front door. "Guys I'm sorry you had to-" I cut her off. "Mom we hear the same speech every weekend I know I know you honestly couldn't care less anyway so don't waist your breath I have to go to work anyway... Bye... Common Darius." I said grabbing Darius's arm and walking to my closet to get my jacket. "Uh.....wa......" mom stuttered trying to grasp what I tell her every weekend. The only reason she can't ever remember is because she's drunk within 2 hours of me leavin for work....
I pulled into the parking lot of McDonalds the worst possible job I could imagine but it got the bills payed and with my employee discount I was able to afford to get us food.
Darius's pov.
As my brother pulled into the parking lot of what I could only imagine as the worst job in the world I go my backpack and started walking to the school down the road I didn't attend the school they just took care of me while my brother worked. As I was walking over to the building I saw a man out of the corner of my eye come up behind me and start walking in the same direction almost as if he was fallowing me. I looked around trying to find someone else around, but just my luck there's nobody here of course it was Saturday everyone had somewhere to be. I walked faster wishing the school was closer. I glanced back at the man taking in his image: tall about 6'2", wearing a black winter coat- even though it was well over 70 degrees outside-, black jeans, and black and white stripped converse.
