As he got closer and closer I started to get scared. I stopped and turned around and came face to face with the man just now realizing he was closer than I thought. Backing up a couple steps I looked at his face which looked oddly familiar. "Um can I help you man.....?" He smiled and tilted his head down. He unzipped his jacket revealing a small gun in the inside pocket of the jacket. I could feel my eyes widen at the sight. "Um.... I.... What do you want?!" I almost shouted. The smile left the mans face. "What do you think you little...." I turned and started running towards the school. I heard the man pull his gun out and load it. I continued to run straight.
Jay's pov.
As I sat my stuff on the bench in the employees room I herd a gunshot and a scram that sounded like Darius. I rushed out the back door and ran down the street going towards the school I saw Darius and some man fighting on the sidewalk. "Darius!!" I screamed. The man stopped and looked up at me. As I took in his facial features i realized that he looked very familiar. When he realized who I was he backed away from Darius and picked up his gun off the ground. I looked from him to Darius and back again. He held the gun up and I started running towards him. I could tell by the look on his face that he was getting scared. I glanced over at Darius to see how bad he was hurt and saw that he had been shot in the shoulder. I stared screaming at him while running. "Darius you need to get to school!" I shouted. The man turned- just as I had planned- and started walking towards Darius. I wad just a few feet from the man when he turned back around realizing I was still here. I tackled the man to the ground and took the gun from his hand.
