8. Chai-Pakoras ~

Sitting in a chair of a Tea shop situated in the market  , Ks took a sip of her chai , thinking about their verbal fight & conflicting ideologies . When a Faint scream caught her attention , a woman was about to fall with the grocery bags in her hand when Two strong arms saved her from Falling.

Ks - "Auntiji Ap Thikhay ? aiye baithiye " makes her sit giving her water & continues her interrogation "Apki Tabiyat kuch thik nahi lagraha , Hospital leke jaye Apko ?" The old lady smiles at her concern    "Areh nahi beta Tum kyu taqleef le rahe ho , Hum thikhay bas Garmi k karan thoda chakkar a rahe they , Hume kuch nahi hua , thoda baytheinge to thik hojaye ga " Ks nods her head in Understanding manner  not convinced to leave the old lady all alone. " Thikhay phir Aiye Hum apko Apke ghar chordenge " Ks receives a call from SS to come back to the Thana soon as per MS orders.

the old lady "Sukriya Beta, par apko taqleef uthane ki koi zaroorat nahi ,Hum chale jayenge aur shayad apko abhi jana bhi hoga ." "Areh aunty taqleef kaise , Yeh humara farz hay , Aap aiye hum chod denge apko apke ghar phir chalenge Thana"  the old lady smiles "Thikhay beta , Waise aap woh Mahila Police Thana ki SI Karishma singh ho na ?? " Ks nods smiling.

Dropping the old lady at her house , Ks says "Thikhay Aunty Aap apna kheyal rakhna . Hum chalte hay " "Areh Beta , abhi itni dur aye humare liye toh ghar k ander bhi ajao, aise bahar se chale jana accha nahi lagta beta " "Nahi Aunty woh humari jo Boss hayna woh bohot daat lagati hay agar  time se nahi pohuche toh problem hojayega , Aap Aram se ghar jaiye hum phir kabhi milenge , Take care ."

Ks enters the Thana with a grumpy face , notices CC inside the cabin with Ms . Walking towards  her desk she saw the culprit in the lockup while Ss and Ps explained to her how Ms solved the case with her Jazbaat . She was somehow convinced by the methods of Ms and it worked but she chose to not voice it out.

Coming out of the Cabin , HM announced that they all are invited for dinner to Her house . After the working hours, all  of them headed to Hm place directly from Thana. Cc, Ss , Ps in the jeep with Hm while Ks followed them in her bike with a straight face.

After driving for 10mins Ks recognised the direction they were headed to and finally the house they reached . "Ama ye madam sir ka ghar hay ?!" Ks thought ....
Hm welcomed all 4 in her house . "Aiye baithiye aur ise apna hi ghar samjhiye . Hum abhi atee hay change karke " "AMMIIIII " Hm called out her mother.

PS - "Ab ghussa chod do karu , aise muh mat fulao , dekho madam sir ne hum sabko dinner pe bulaya hay , ab tum unhi k ghar mein akar unhi se baat nahi karogi toh kaise chalega "
CC & SS - "Hain Madam , Pushpaji ekdam thik keh rahi hay "
KS - "Hain thik hay thikhay , nahi Muh fulayenge "
Noor Ammi enters the room with Chai-Pakoras .
Ammi - "agai Karishma beta !!" "Aunty ji apne subah bataya ..." (ks words were cut off )
Ps - "Ap inhe janti hay behen ji ? aur Karishma tumne bataya nahi tum Madam Sir k Ammi ko pehle se jante ho"

Ks- "Amma hume batane to dijiye .... Woh aj subah market mein inse mile they , tab inhone bataya nahi ki ye ms ki Ammi hay , hume bhi abhi pata chala "

While the trio was busy in their conversation , CC & SS were having fun watching them out with Chai Pakoras .

Noor Ammi - "Actually pushpaji , yehi bulate hayna sab apko ?" Ps nods and ammi continues "Woh kya hayna Aj subah hum mile they tabhi humne inhe ghar bulake itmenaan se batana chaha Lekin inhe jaldi thana pohuchna tha kiyuki inki Boss inhe daant lagati hay shayad isiliye ye chali gayi " Ammi explains the matter to Ps and smirks at Ks saying the last line . Ks's eyes widens when she remembers the remarks she made in front of Noor Ammi  in the morning.

"Hum tumhare sukra guzar hay beta , Haseena ne bataya tha kaise tumne usko sambhala pehle hi din ... Ghar akee sirf tumhari geet gaa rahi thi , usko isse pehle kisiki inti tareef karte humne nahi dekha aur nahi dost banate . Aur subha jab hum dono mile mujhe khushi hui thi tumhe dekhkar , ki kaise ek anjan ki fikkar tum karti ho sachmein bohot acchi parvarish hay tumhari "

Ps raises her collar in pride to show SS & CC when Ammi claims about KS's good parvarish .

Ps - "Behen ji sach kahe toh humne bhi pehli baar apki tarha apni beti ko kisiki dost itni jaldi bante dekha hay , Yeh thori garam dimaag ki insaan hay aur Madam sir sulji hui , dono Apas mein milkar ek dusre ko sambhal lenge " 

After the mothers were  done , Ks pleaded "Aunty ji woh subha Boss wali baat unko maat batana please "  "Thikhay fir ek shart hay , Tum bhi mujhe Aunty nahi Ammi bulaogi ... Bolo manzoor ? Nahi to bata dungi ."

"Kisko kya  batana hay Ammi ? " Hm asked about entering the hall and joining them .

"Kuch nahi beta ao baitho hum dinner lagwate hay" says Ammi & walks towards the kitchen followed by Ps to help her in the chores.

Hm and Ks sit opposite to each other not uttering a single word neither interacting With each other , When SS comes up with an idea -

"Waise madam sir Aap kya Humesha se itni suljhi hui , shant aur ladai jhagde k khilaf thi ya phir karu di k jaise bhaukaali ?" She mentions both of her seniors personalities to grab the attention of Hm & the one scrolling her phone with a straight face.

HM - Santosh Sharma hum sab abhi off duty hay isiliye  madam sir bolne ki zaroorat nahi hay , aur  hum pehle itne suljhe huye nahi they... woh toh samay k sath sath sabkuch badal jata hay , ladai jhagda karte they bohot purene dino mein lekin bade hote hote samajh aya ki haar problem ka solution marpit karne se nahi ata balki taqleef mein marham lagane se chot siya ja sakta hay jazbaton se ... aur rahi baat Ghusse ki toh woh zaroorat se zayada hojaye toh khudpe aur apno pe bhari padta hay , isiliye ghusse ko kayam karna shikhna hota hay , sathik jagah istemaal karna sikhna hota hay " Hm said the last line looking at Ks who was busy scrolling phone still now , although She knew Ks heard her point of view .

Ps and Noor called them out to join at the Dinning table for Dinner .

"Aunty ji apko pata hay roj roj quarter  ka sukhi roti khatay khatay mujhme dinner karne ki chahat hi chali gayi thi  , Sirf lunch Pushpee aur karu di k sath karti hoon isiliye woh accha lagta hay ... lekin aj apki banai hui Biriyani khake mera  maan bhar gaya,, Apke haat ka Biriyani ajse mera favourite aur Pushpee ki Rajma chawal ... Thank you ajke dinner k liye " Both the mothers smiled at the little one.

"Santu ji agar ap kahe to hum apko dinner mein leke ja sakte hay , agar apka permission ho to " Cc asked shyly .

" Nahi Cheete chor zyada khaungi to moti hojaungi " Ss says taking a mouthful of Biriyani .

PS- Ha Nooru ye baat sach hay tumhari banai Biriyani bohot swadisth hay.

Ks - Amma sahi keh rahi hay Ammi , apke wala Biriyani best hay !!

Noor ammi smiles after hearing "Ammi" from Ks and serves more to her plate.

"Sabne tareef kardi sirf ek hamari aulaad ko chorkar " says looking at Hm. " kya Ammi ap toh Janti hay Hume apki banai hui Biriyani khate waqt baat karna pasand nahi , woh kya hayna Baat karte karte khaneka Maza thik se ata nahi isiliye full concentration k sath hum khana khate hay" Noor smiles at her daughter 's confession "Hain bhai kha le Tu pet bharke phir baat karenge "

Dinner was filled with smiles , giggles and laughters along with Biriyani. But One thing was noticed by all , neither Hm nor Ks spoke a single word to each other directly .

As Noor Ammi wasn't aware of today's incident She asked "Pushp ek baat puche  ? Kya aj Karishma k boss ne usse kuch kaha hay ? Kyunki kaal taak toh jitni humne Haseena se suni thi sabkuch thik laga aur aj yeh dono baat tak nahi karahe hay ."  Ps explains to her the morning incident and how their working   ideologies  conflict with each other.

After the Dinner , Ks deliberately wanted to help Ammi in kitchen chores though Ammi tried to stop her . While serving the Ice creams in the plate ammi says

"Beta kya hum tumko Haseena k bare mein ek baat bataye ?"
