A/N: I AM DYSLEXIC (diagnosed yesterday 😝😝😔) AND ENGLISH INS'T MY FIRST LANGUE!!!

I was sitting on my living room couch next to my brother, Jacob. I was studying to be prepared for my first calc tomorrow class and he was watching Percy Jackson, ep 5 just came out. " You literally binge-read all the books in 5th grade, why aren't you into this as much as I am?" he asked out of the blue. I looked up from my calc notes from my senior friend's and shrugged " Leah asked me the same thing this morning, were you ese dropping?" I asked pissed, he looked back to the show.

" I hate you and should kill you, but my books should be outside right now," I said while looking at him directly. " Honey while you're out there get the mail for me, please," my mom said from the kitchen. I nodded yes and put my shoes back on.

I walked out to our hot pink mailbox, picked out by me in 1st grade. I walked out right when I saw a teenage guy, must be the new neighbors I thought. I glanced over again to see, the guy who plays Percy Jackon. But no, that can't be, but I saw his sister right next to him, I recognized them from Momona's Instagram, but I don't remember his name. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, I was hallucinating, I guess.

I got the mail, but no books. I sighed as I pulled up my Amazon order on my phone. It said delivered, " Hey!" I turned; it was the Percy Jackson dude.

" Hi, you need help?" I asked oblivious to the package in his hand. He smiled. " No, are you Ana Torres-Timesimth?" he asked, reading off a package butchering my last name. " Yes, I am," I said with a smile. He handed me my opened package. " Sorry, my brother Tanner, opened them, he has an addiction to opening packages".

" Ha, so is my mom," I said, " So you watch the show?" he asked with a smile, " No, I don't really like shows like that, waiting weeks for all the episodes to come out, but my brother watches it," I said checking to make sure all the books where in the package. " You know Percy?" he asked, " No I haven't gotten a chance to see the cast, but I'm friends with Leah, Annbeth," I said, he nodded.

" Well thanks for the books, I gotta go, um" I struggled to figure out his name. " Walker, Walker Scobell," he said finishing my sentence. " Bye," he waved.

I walked back into my house, " What took you so long?" my mom asked me as I dropped the mail in the kitchen. " I was talking to the new neighbors," I said as took a cut-up bell pepper off the table.

" Oh, good, give them that" my mom pointed to the gift basket she set up for the new next-door neighbors a few weeks ago. " Mom, no I already had to talk to the guy," I said as I slumped down. She took her gloves off and grabbed the basket. " Lazy children, don't do anything" She whispered to herself out the door.

I sat back down in the living room, Jacob was still there watching intently. Percy flashed on the screen, " Is that guy named Walker Scobell?" I asked, Jacob's eyes darted to me. " Yeah, why?". " No reason," I said smiling. My mom walked in smiling to herself, I stood up. " What did you do?" I asked nervously. " You should have walked that basket over because now we have dinner with the Scobells tonight at 6:00," she said as walked back into the kitchen.

Jacob stood up quickly, " LIKE THE SCOBELL'S?" he asked, Jacob was a big softie when it came to Percy Jackson for some reason. " I don't know, hey that kid was out there, I so," she said at the screen and walked back into the kitchen.

" I gotta call Brady," Jacob said while he ran upstairs with a big goofy grin. " Do you really need to go upstairs to call him?" I said to his butt. " Yes!" he yelled down. I got back to my workbook. " Well, are you gonna change?" my mom asked, my cheeks flashed red, " No, and is dad going?" I asked still looking at my work. " He's staying an extra day in Spain so no and go change that one kid was cute impress him!" my checks flashed redder.

" Mom!" I said she shod me off. I got my stuff to go upstairs to get ready.
