I sat down in 3rd period, 12th grade AP biology. I shared it with none of my friends they all took 10th grade biology, I was lonely. I sat down next to this brunette guy named Smith; thank God the teacher gave us assigned seats. 

I was wearing my knit tube top with a pair of shorts, and I was really regretting it, it was so cold by now in September in New Jersey for some reason. 

I kept my head down for most of the lesson until I heard someone call my name. " Hey, Adriana?" it was a girl with dark hair, but she had scary light blue eyes. " You know Walker and Leena?" she asked snickering with her friends. I nodded yes and looked back on my work sheet.  She laughed again, " Are you dating Walker?" she asked again, I shook my head no. " Well, you better hurry, so many girls are after him it's crazy" she said in a condescending way.  " K" I said paying her no mind. 

" You think you can put in a good word for me?" she asked, I ignored her. " Hey you think-"

" Leave her alone Amber, I doubt they even talk." the brunette guy, Smith, said. " Shut up Granny Smith Appels, I just trying to get a roster" she said as she looked back to her work. 

I smiled; a guy stood up for me. It was something, I guess. 

Lunch

I sat with my friends plus Leena and our new friend Irina. " Born to date a famous child actor forced date no one." Madi said while sighing, Irina patted her shoulder. " Gross how can anyone like my brother" Leena gagged, " I'm over him" Madi lied, " Yeah sure" Katie laughed, we all joined in but Madi. " No really, I am, he's so, bah. " Leena nodded her head but I could tell she knew Madi was lying. 

" Leena wanna go with me to the vending machines?" I asked to get the topic off of Walker. " Yeah, we can". We got up and walked over the designated room for all 5 of them. " I don't know" Leena said out of the blue, " Do you like my brother?" she asked, I shook my head no, the most I talked to Walker was when he gave me package and that was like 2 weeks ago. 

" Sorry about Madi, but she said she's had a crush on him since the Adam Project?", Leena giggled, " Really, he was like a baby in that" I joined her laughter. " I don't know?" I said as I grabbed my chips out of the vending machine. 

" Shoot, I press the wrong thing" I said as I looked down to my Oreo bag in disgust. "Oreos are good" Walker said, he appeared behind Leena. " I guess, I don't really like them though." I put them in my lunch box. 

Walker stared at me like I said something terrible, I was getting kinda scared because of his eyes, they were piercing blue. " What? I don't like Oreo's, you can have them if you want?" I handed the pack to him. 

" How can you not like Oreo's, AMERICA'S FAVORITE COOKIE?", Walker said I laughed. " You're so passionate about them here" I placed them in his hand.  " Very!" Leena said embarrassed or some other emotion. I couldn't tell. 

" Let's get back" she pointed towards the table. " K, bye Walker" I said as I walked off, " Bye Ana" he said mouth full of cookie, he had already ripped the package open and had eaten two. 

" I don't know, I'm not one to ship my brother with my friends but-" I put a finger to Leena's face, " Nuh-uh" I said, " Just don't be surprised when I make be partners with my brother when we go on the slopes" she said as we reached the table. 

I made a really? face to her, but she just shrugged her shoulders.
