Lilith says "don't you dare Thalia" and she nods. Sam looks straight to Thalia and bites her lip slightly as she looks at the outfit she is wearing. Lilith raises an eyebrow as Thalia doesn't notice.
Sam starts first "I asked Mindy to call everyone here because there's something I need to tell you"

Chad says "so let me get this straight, you're saying you're the daughter of billy loomis and what, one of us is the killer" as he looks to everyone who nods. Sam replies "the killer told me he knew my secret, he attacked Tara to lure me here"
Thalia nods as Lilith plays with Thalia's hair. Lilith does this whenever she's bored and Thalia doesn't complain. Chad looks confused as he says "but then why go murder that douch-nozzle that was stalking Liv and why does it have to be one of us?"
Thalia and Lilith shrug in sync as Thalia looks back to Sam, her eyes trailing every point of her figure. Wes speaks up "what about deputy Dewey over here. Maybe he's the killer. No offense". Thalia glares at Wes. Dewey raised her at some point, she still defends him. Sam smiles at Thalia's anger.
Dewey replies "none taken" and Thalia eases up "but what's my motive" he says again as Wes is quick to reply "you got stabbed a billion times, got dumped by your famous wife and crawled into a bottle" and with that, Thalia hits Wes lightly but still hard enough to let him know, on the arm. "Ow what was that for?" He asks "you know what" was her reply
Wes looks to his older sister for defence but Lilith just shakes her head in disappointment. Dewey says "maybe you're the killer, because that cut deep"
Amber speaks up "that douche-nozzle is connected. I googled him, his mum is Leslie macher, Stu Macher's sister" Thalia tenses up at the mention of her father's name. Liv replies "who's Stu macher?" And Dewey answers her question "he's billy loomis's accomplice. A real loony tune" as he looks to Thalia the whole time.
Sam says "okay okay, the first 3 attacks were all on people related to the original killers"
Thalia and Mindy say in sync "they're making a requel" and everyone looks to them in confusion "or legacyquel. Fans are torn on the terminology" Thalia comments as Chad grains in annoyance "god speak English"
Mindy and Thalia roll their eyes and Mindy continues. "Remeber the stab movie that came out last year?" She asks and Liv smiles "oh, yeah! The one that the knives out guy directed right?...I actually really liked that one"
"Of course you did" Mindy says "you have terrible taste" Thalia adds and Liv says "I hate you guys"

Thalia nods along and Richie asks "what's a Mary sue" Wes replied "you don't wanna know"
Amber says "what's wrong with elevated horror, Jordan peele fucking rules" Lilith nods and says "preach" as Thalia Carries on. "Obviously, but that's not stab Real stab movies are meta slasher whodunits, full stop"
Sam replies to Thalia "come on, it's just a movie" and Thalia and Mindy sigh and say in unison "no, it's not"
Thalia continues "To some people, the original is their favorite thing in the world. The movie that made them love horror That Mom or Dad showed them when they were ten that bonded them together And God help anyone who slightly fuck with that special memory Who makes a movie they think disrespects it. It sounds like our killer is writing his own version of stab 8, but doing it as a requel"
"Which is?" Dewey asks and Thalia sighs and says "See, you can't just reboot a franchise from scratch anymore The fans won't stand for it. Black Christmas, Child's Play, Flatliners...that sh*t doesn't work. But you can't just do a straight sequel, either. You got to build something new. But not too new,or the Internet goes bug-fucking nuts. It has to be part of an ongoing story line, even if the story shouldn't have been ongoing in the first place. New main characters, yes, but supported and related to legacy characters. Not quite a reboot, not quite a sequel. Like the new Halloween, Saw, Terminator, Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters... fuck, even Star Wars! It always, always goes back to the original!"
Sam is a little impressed by Thalia's knowledge as Mindy says "that's my sis" and Sam says "are you telling me I'm caught in the middle of fan-fucking fiction"
Mindy says "not just in the middle Sam, you're the star"
Liv speaks up "so, not just to put a fine point on it but according to requel rules....whos next?"
Mindy says "going by the pattern, whoever it is has to be connected to someone that came before"
Dewey says "I'm starting to regret coming here"
"Jesus, our mum was a character in one of them" wes says to Lilith and Lilith holds Thalia's hand.
Mindy says "no one cares about the shitty inferior sequels, you two are safe" and then she says "with Randy as our uncle, though, we're screwed" she says to Chad "wait what?" is his reply. Thalia snickers. And Mindy says "and Thalia...." Thalia gives her a death stare which shuts Mindy up. Sam looks to Thalia curiously.
Richie glares at Thalia for a reason she can't fathom as he says to Thalia and Mindy "or you're the killers and this whole elaborate monologue is to cover your tracks"
Mindy sighs and says "I think it's pretty clear who the killer is at this point"
Everyone turns to her as Sam asks "who?" Mindy's instant reply "you" and Thalia doesn't see how it could be Sam. "It makes perfect requel sense" Mindy says.
Chad agrees "that actually does make a lot of sense" Liv nods and Lilith says "yeah"
Sam says "fuck this" and walks out as Thalia follows her out. "Hey" she tries to say as Sam says "piss off, I'm leaving" as she goes to her car. Thalia grabs her wrist and Sam is surprised that the raven haired girl is actually quite strong. "At least let me go with you, you can't be alone when there's a masked killer around" Thalia says softly
Sam's angry expression softens and she says "fine, cmon let's go" and with that, they get into the car and Sam starts driving
