Thalia's eyes flutter open and the first thing she sees is Connor looking down at her, blood dripping from every stab that Thalia stabbed him in. He says "I may not have been able to kill you, but I did kill your hope of being normal again"

Thalia sat up too quickly and groaned as two hands gently pushes her down into a laying down position. Sam says "shhh calm down, turns out Connor stabbed you 6 more times while you guys were fighting. The doctors got to you before you, y'know" the brunette says with a smile

Thalia sees Mindy and Chad with Lilith as Lilith is carrying bags, heavy ones.

"Where are you guys going?" Thalia asks as the brunette smiles "New York, and you, my raven haired friend, are coming with us"

With Sam's help, Thalia hit her bags into the back and sat in the passenger seat, Sam had argued for Thalia to sit there since she was injured. Mindy tried to protest but no hope.

They started their journey to drive and that's when Thalia realised it, that slight spark of realisation, she, in fact, thought about all the events leading up until now, her heart beating faster whenever the brunette was around, her heart fluttering at even a brush of contact between them.

'God no. I'm in love with Sam carpenter' Thalia thought to herself as she leaned up against the window. Thalia slowly fell asleep. Sam looked over and smiles softly at seeing the raven haired girl asleep. Sam gently reached over into the back next to Mindy and pulled out a small blanket.

At the next red light, Sam gently wrapped the blanket around the sleeping Thalia and smiled as she turned her attention back onto the road.

Tara, Lilith and Mindy, who had been watching their interaction from the back, smirk at each other other, secretly plotting the best way to set them up. Mindy checks on Chad, who they stuffed in the boot because there was not any space in the car.

Now to New York they go
