Chapter 10 - Alex's Girlfriend

Going outside the next day thinking about the good news that I heard about last night from a very excited Luke, I decided that I was going to tell my best friends about Lilly. "Hey guys, can you come down here for a minute," Alex yelled while walking back into the house. "Yea, What's up bro," said Luke. "Is the pizza here yet?" Yelled Reggie as he ran down the stairs skipping every other step. "I need to tell you guys something," Alex said as the guys made it downstairs. "Dude, is the pizza here?" Reggie repeated hungry and wanting his pizza. "Seriously, Reggie? No, the pizza isn't here yet. Can I have a real conversation with the both of you now, that doesn't involve pizza?" Alex asked sarcastically towards Reggie.

Reggie gave a weak half-smile as Alex started talking again. "I want to congratulate you Luke for having the balls to actually own up to your feelings for Julie. And I wanted to let both of you guys know that I've been dating someone for almost two and a half months." Alex announced as Reggie and Luke just stood there shocked. They were stuck like that for what seemed to be five or ten minutes before responding. "Congratulations bro," Luke said happy for Alex. Because he knows he is the sensitive and shy one out of the group. Reggie just smiled at them. Then said, "I'm happy for you dude. But where is this damn pizza." Alex and Luke looked at Reggie crazy. "Nice bro, you sure know how to kill a bro's moment," Luke said with a confused face. "Sorry, bro. I am happy for you but I haven't eaten all morning and I ordered the pizza an hour ago and it's still not here," Reggie said. As he went upstairs to call the pizza delivery guy. "That was rude," Luke said. "Well, nothing comes between Reggie and his pizza," Alex said as they both laughed. "Tell me more about this girl," as Luke made his way into the kitchen to get two sodas and some snacks. "Well, I met her when she fell on top of me," Alex said. Luke looked at him with an eyebrow up. "Explain," Luke said with a grin.

"Not like that, weirdo. She was skateboarding at the park with friends, and I somehow got in her way, I guess, and we both fell. I landed on my back, and she landed on my crotch," Alex said with a laugh remembering his and Lilly's first encounter. "Wow, so you and her have a mecu," Luke said. "A what?" Alex asked. "A mecu, I Learned it when me and Julie watched 'To All The Boys I Loved' Before part 3. It's when you meet your girlfriend in a special and memorable way," Luke said. Alex looked at him crazy. "So, you watched 'The Walter Boys' too then," and started laughing about the chick flicks that Julie made him watch. "Shut up," Luke said. "Anyway, you can meet her today. I'm going to see if she wants to hang out a little bit before we go to Julie to practice," Alex said. "Oh, I forgot to tell you, practice is canceled for today. Julie and Flynn have dates for tonight," Luke said with a wink and a smile. "So, you and your girl will have the house to yourselves because Aunt Jenna is working till tomorrow afternoon," Luke said going upstairs so he could start getting ready for his date.

So, I decided to call Lilly and see if she wanted to come hang out with me at the house. "Hey babe, what you doing right now?" Alex asked Lily. "Nothing much I was going to the skate park, but what do you have in mind?" Lily asked. "Do you want to come over and hang with me?" Alex asked. "Yea, I mean we are always at my house or around my friends. So, it would be fun to see you in your comfort zone. What are we going to do?" Lilly asked thinking to herself all the things that might be going through his head because that was a loaded question. "We can watch one of the apps I have on my TV if you want," Alex said into his phone, smiling from ear to ear. This was Alex's first normal relationship ever. He dated in Hollywood, but it was all hype. "Sure, when do you want me to come over?" she asked him. 

"Depends, how fast can you get here?" Alex said trying to sound smooth. "Huh," Lilly said. "Now, if you want," Alex sled in nervously and Lilly could hear it in his voice. "Ok, do you want me to bring any snacks or anything?" Lily asked. "Just some licorice babe I got everything else," Alex said then hung up the phone. Running to get all the snacks that they liked and taking them to his room so they could have snacks to eat while they watched movies. When he heard a knock on the door. With a big smile on his face and a couple more snacks, he went to open the door knowing it was Lilly. "Hey babe," Lily said as she gave him a huge hug. "Hey cutie, come in. I have everything ready for us in my room," Alex said as he led her upstairs. "So where do I sit?" Lily asked nervous to be in Alex's bedroom. "On my bed where else would you sit? Make yourself comfortable babe," he said as he sat in the middle of his bed and patted the empty place next to him. Lily walked over to the bed and sat next to her very sensitive and caring boyfriend as he passed her the remote to pick the first movie.

When the movie went off, it was Alex's turn to choose, "So what are you going to pick." Lilly asked as she started looking at him. "What? Do I have Cheetos on my face or something?" Lilly just laughed and looked down. When she looked back up Alex smiled then looked away. "I'm glad your here," Alex said to Lilly looking into her eyes. "Me too," Lilly replied. Keeping eye contact with each other they started kissing. Then he pulled away a little looking at her. "What movie are we watching next?" Alex asked still inches from Lilly's lips. "Kissing you," Lilly said as they started kissing again. Just as the kiss was about to deepen. "Hey Alex, we were," Reggie and Luke started but cut themselves off when they saw Alex making out heavily with Lilly. "Do you ever knock," yelled Alex at Luke and Reggie. "It's fine Alex, I think I should go," Lilly said embarrassed. "Really, why?" Alex didn't understand. "It's getting late," Lilly said to him. "But it's only eight o'clock, your curfew is eleven," Alex said to her. "See you at school or just call me later." She said as she left Alex's room and house. "Alex, when did your girlfriend get here?" Reggie asked with a smile on his face. "And what was that?" Luke asked stuck on what he walked in on. "That was my business, stay out of it. Plus, I have been dating her for at least two and a half months. And that's as far as we go. Not that it's your business if it goes further," Alex told his best friends. 

"I thought you two had dates?" Alex said. "The girls canceled on us," Reggie said bumbed out. "So you decided to mess up my date? And her name is Lily," Alex said. "And I really like her. So, what did you want to tell me?" Alex asked as he got off the bed and walked towards his friends changing the subject. "Well, there is a new teen nightclub opening up and we wanted your opinion on taking the girls or not?" Luke asked. "I don't see why not. It's not like it's Hollywood where everyone we know is going to be there. We are in Idaho, guys. You have nothing to worry about here enjoy yourselves," Alex said. "But I will get you back for messing up my night," Alex said as he pushed his friends out of his room. Then texted Lilly to see if she made it home safely.
