( Hello all, welcome to the second chapter of head's up handsome. I hope you all liked the first one. Feel free to give me feedback, suggestions, or anything like that. Hope you enjoy :)
The eye contact lasted only a moment. One second, those beautiful black eyes were gazing directly into Atsumu's very soul and the next they had moved on. Still it felt as if that moment had gone on for a hundred years. This person, this being...was immaculate. A nice jaw, a long thin nose. Pale skin that wasn't to pasty white, and two gorgeous beauty marks on just the right place on his forhead. Not to mention his hair. Oh, his hair was incredible. Soft black curls that fell gently on his perfect forhead. What had this man done in his previous life to be reincarnated like this?
It was only when Osamu's fist slammed hard into the back of his head that Atsumu snapped out of whatever strange trance had fallen over him. Turning to punch his twin back, he became aware that his face was burning. What was wrong with him?
After a short tussle, which Suna filmed, Atsumu found himself turning to look for the black haired Itachiyama boy again. He was standing a short distance away from the rest of his team, the friendly looking brunnette from before still standing next to him. The raventte's amazing black eyebrows turned downward as he scowled at the gym around him. Atsumu felt his heart flutter and reached up to grab at his chest. Even with such a stormy expression on his face, this man was hella hot.
"You okay Tsum Tsum?" The concerned voice of Suna made Atsumu jump, and he looked over at his brothers boyfriend with a nervous sweat on his face.
"Me? Y-yeah, I'm fine." He said quickly, trying desperately to keep a straight face. "Why wouldn't I be?"
Suna gave him a look that was somewhere between confused and creeped out. An expression that Atsumu would have found funny if he didn't have so many thoughts rushing through his brain at a hundred miles an hour. Was he going insane?
"Lets go you two, coach says to line up." The almost monotone voice of Kita made both Atsumu and Suna flinch, and they turned to look at their captain. "We don't have all day."
Suna and Atsumu nodded quickly, and Kita gave them a long stern look before turning and walking away. The Inarizaki team captain was a bit strange, but everybody was fond of him nonetheless. He was a pretty nice guy overall, but Atsumu had found it was best to obey him. Despite his small lean figure and kind face, Kita could be rather mean when he wanted to be. Atsumu had learned that the hard way.
Giving Atsumu a 'we'll talk later' look, Suna followed after the white haired boy. That wasn't going to be an amazing conversation, Atsumu could already tell. He didn't think that he had done anything to offend Suna today, but sometimes stuff just happened.
Sighing, Atsumu shot one more glance over his shoulder at the stormy faced hot guy, before trailing over to join the rest of his team. As he fell into line beside his brother he couldn't help but wonder if the gorgeous ravennete would be any good at volleyball.. . . . .
The answer was yes. The black haired hottie was incredible at volleyball. He was his teams ace and damn was he good at it.
Atsumu watched in awe as the boy jumped into the air, his eyes narrowed with focus. The next moment he distantly heard the sound of a ball hitting the gym floor with extreme force, echo through the gym. He was so busy watching the black haired ace that he hadn't even seen the ball meet the floor.
"Nice kill Sakusa!" One of the Itachiyama boys yelled, patting the black haired boy on the back. He responded by shooting his teammate an icy glare. As Atsumu watched, he felt his cheeks warm up. How was it fair that this spectacular boy was hot and talented?
A rough tap on the shoulder pulled Atsumu from his thoughts."You got this." Osamu said immediately, pushing him towards the back of the court. It was only then that Atsumu realized it was his turn to serve. Cursing himself for his stupidity, he grabbed the ball from his brothers hands and marched into position.
How could he be so caught up in staring at someone that he didn't even know what was happening on his side of the court? What was wrong with him? He had to snap out of it, or at this rate they would end up losing. Risking a quick glance at the scoreboard he found they were indeed down by two. He would have to change that.
Spinning the ball quickly between his fingertips, he scanned the positions of the other team on their side of the court. All of them were focused, their knee's slightly bent, ready for whatever Atsumu would throw at them. Oh were they going to be surprised.
Keeping his eyes carefully trained away from the gorgeous ace, he carefully positioned himself for the serve. Somehow he knew that if he looked at the black haired boy he would lose his focus and that was not something he could afford to do in this moment.
Drawing in a deep breath through his nose, Atsumu threw the ball into the air. The sound of the volleyball meeting his palm bounced off the floor and walls. It was soon followed by the sound of the ball smacking the floor on the other side of the net.
Grinning Atsumu opened his eyes, shared a quick thumbs up with his brother, and turned to look at the other team. They all looked shocked, confused and... That boy was watching him. His dark eyes calculating, as if he was trying to see into Atsumu's deepest darkest thoughts.
Feeling his face turning red, he looked at the floor. How was he going to manage to focus through the whole game when a hottie like that was on the other side of the court? It would probably take some sort of miracle.
. . . . .
Sakusa let out a sigh of relief as the game came to an end. They had lost by two points, but this didn't really bother him. It was just a practice match after all, nothing to serious.
Yawning, he stretched his arms over his head, slowly meandering away from the rest of his team, who had all rushed forward to talk to the Inarizaki boys. Sakusa hated this part of any practice match. He was bad enough at dealing with people he knew, let alone those he didn't. What was so great about making conversation with strangers.
Settling himself into a corner, he watched his team socialize from a distance, feeling oddly tired. Throughout most of this match, he had felt strangly watched, as if someone had had their eyes on him almost the entire time. The feeling hadn't gone away, no matter how much he had tried to tell himself it wasn't there. Maybe that was why he felt so exhausted now.
Most people avoided looking at Sakusa, either because they thought he was weird, or because they knew how rudely he tended to behave towards others. Either way, it was unusual for him to have to endure another persons eyes on him for long periods of time. Even in public places like this.
Sighing, he dragged a hand over his face, trying to calm himself down. He couldn't wait to get home.
"Hi there!Yer name's Sakusa right?" Sakusa froze, his hand hovering over his mouth. Standing almost directly in front of him was Inarazaki's blonde setterx wearing a much to cheerful smile."My names Atsumu, Atsumu Miya. Nice to meetcha."
( Thanks for reading the second episode. Not much happened in this one exepte Tsumu being an absolute simp. I wonder how Sakusa will react to this. Anyways hope you all enjoyed. 💖💗)
