Nadia runs through the unfamiliar terrain, rapidly looking around for threats. Not sensing anything she leans against a nearby tree. She closed her eyes focusing her energy on connecting to the flora, looking for guidance to Mystic Falls. While searching for her answer she felt an uncomfortable shocking sensation creeping up her arm, the tree was rejecting her. She gritted through the pain and finally found her direction. She set off with the hope of soon reaching her destination. Before long she sidestepped and slipped on some slippery foliage. She let out a surprised screech as her body tumbled its way down a slope. The forest was, definitely, not happy with her. Knocking the wind out of her with a tree in the stomach. Just like that it went black and her body stopped aching.

Not far away the brothers stopped in their tracks when they heard a voice screaming, they locked eyes before rushing towards the unknown damsel. Finding a red-haired girl in torn clothing practically wrapped around a tree at the bottom of a hill. Stefan leaned down to check for breathing," Hey miss are you okay?"

She suddenly reached her hand towards his face "Elijah" She trailed off before her arm went limp again.

She was breathing but it was weak. The brothers exchanged a look and Damon scooped her up before they ran back to the house, to treat her wounds.

Damon put her placed her in one of the guest rooms. Stefan arrived with the first aid kit followed by Alaric and Elena who had been accompanying the brothers before they ran out. Stefan expressed his concern for her involvement with the supernatural and explained why they couldn't bring her to the hospital.

"The question is, what was she running from?" Alaric question.

"I would say she answered that, but last I heard he is out of commission." Damon Shrugged.

They all looked confused at him. Until Stefan joined in the brainstorm "If she's not running from him, that means she's looking for him."

"Why would she look for a sadistic monster?"

"Who? What are you talking about?" Elena questioned confused about the identity.

"Elijah..." the brothers answered in union.

Caroline and Bonnie had joined the group at the boarding house. The group was discussing the questionable quest, before they were interrupted by Klaus waltzing in "Oh I'm sorry friends am I interrupting something, don't mind me, do continue."

"Klaus" Stefan greeted him with destain.

"Such a warm welcome, I can truly feel the love." he sarcastically snorted.

Everybody's attention quickly shifted as they heard steps nearing the lounge room.

"You guys even prepared a snack, you shouldn't have," Klaus commented as he could smell the light fragrance of fresh blood.

The vampires readied themself for a confrontation. The tension rose as the small girl came into view. "Klaus?"

He froze in his tracks surprised by a fiery red head. Looking rather weak. She gathered all of her remaining strength and leaped at the hybrid. Catching everybody by surprise at her cluelessness about the danger of the situation she was putting herself in.

She starts hitting his chest and kicking wildly. "Where is he, Klaus? What did you do to him? He was supposed to come home! Why didn't he come home? It's been months! Did you kill him?! I will be the end of you!" her punches slowed as she had used up the last bit of her energy.
