Ai's POV

The two of us were walking through the hallway as (y/n) was holding my hand to keep me close. We made eye contact as he went to press a kiss on my hair which I blushed and looked away. I then heard him chuckle which I pouted and lightly smacked him on his chest which he started laughing a little bit before carrying me in his arms. I madly blushed and sighed in defeat as he continued walking to a certain spot with me in his arms. I then noticed the familiar spot where we first met after the incident at home. (y/n) then let me sit on the swing which I did while he kneel down on one knee which confused me a bit. Then he took out a box and opened it, revealing a ring that matched the jewelry set that Reiji gave me earlier today, but it has more diamonds and was more of what his father gave his mother. (y/n) then told me to hold out my hand which I did as he slipped the ring onto my ring finger and kissed it. I blushed as I actually admire the heart-shaped gemstones with small white diamonds as I looked at him with tears in my eyes. He chuckled as he started wiping my tears away before leaning forward to plant a kiss on my lips which it surprised me. I then slowly kissed back and closed my eyes as I felt our tongues touched before breaking a kiss as he continued to wipe my tears off my eyes.

(y/n): Ai, what's wrong? *finished wiping tears off Ai's face*

Ai: *sniffles quietly* I'm sorry... I just don't know... I felt surprised when you placed the ring on my finger

(y/n): *kneels down* Ai, when we first met on my birthday, I knew that you were going to be my lady to stay by my side. Although, not knowing what was going on till you told me about your family specifically your middle stepbrother, I had to go and find a way to protect you from him after he kidnapped you a few days after you started staying here in the palace. After what happened to you that day, I have to strain myself from seeing you while you're recovering from the incident.

Ai: *nods as she felt her hands being held and looked down at his hands holding hers*

(y/n): I always asked permission/consent to touch you whenever you're comfortable too. You're my precious cherry blossom the love of my life. I wanted to protect your life with mine. Everyone we know loves you so much including sir Camus, sir Reiji and your father. So I wanted to give you this ring as a marriage proposal and a birthday present.

Ai: *blushes as she slowly nods before feeling an embrace*

(y/n): Now, did you feel cold? Tired?

Ai: Yeah *yawns quietly* Tired

(y/n): Alright, let's say goodbye to the Pendragons, okay? The banquet is almost over

Ai: *nods slowly as she holds the prince's hand before heading back inside*

5 minutes later

Arthur: Oh! There they are

Lily: Hm? Is Ai-chan sleepy?

(y/n): Hm? *looks at Ai who was swaying a little bit* Oh? *carries Ai into his arms* Ai?

Ai: *slowly looks up* Hm~?

Lily: Aww~

Arturia: We're going back home so we came to say goodbye

Arthur: But we'll come back here for your wedding 😄

Ai: *nods slowly as she softly smiles* Thank you for coming

Pendragons: 😳 'so cute~!' No problem 😄

(y/n): We'll walk you to your carriage

Arturia and her siblings nodded as the five of us started walking to their carriage and at the same time my brothers Reiji and Camus were about to head back home with father. (y/n) asked me if I wanted to say goodbye to them before they go which I slowly nodded and he did what I said and started walking to the three gentlemen. Reiji first hugged me, not squeezing me as he told me that he, Camus and father gave their blessing to (y/n) which I was surprised and hugged them as they say their goodbyes to me. I waved as their carriage rode off, away from the palace as I started to yawn which I felt a hand on my back and looked to see (y/n) behind. He then asked if I was ready to bed which I nodded and leaned over to his chest and slowly dozed off to sleep.
