Church was just too much for me. That was just too much drama. Some people just don't understand that I've been in Rainbow Squad since middle school. Now I'm a grown ass woman and I can do whatever i want.

"Bae I'm so ready to eat. Like your mom's food is just awesome."  Nandi said excitedly. My mom's cooking was good. I especially loved her ribs and baked beans.

Sunday dinner where the whole family gets together is just crazy. We shared stories or messed with each about what we have done or what we didn't do. My oldest sister Aniesha and my mother are just too much alike. I don't know how Remington does it but Nandi says I'm just like them also. Ha that nigga thought it was.

Everyone was quiet on the way to our mom's house. I guess they were tired but when I get there I am going straight to the gameroom. A pool table was calling my name in that house. A smirk spread across my face as I began to think about how Nandi gave me a "pool lesson".

I would learn to play pool any damn day with Nandi ass.

We were getting close to my mom's house. At the turn in of the neighborhood I saw a couple of police cars searching a car but I couldn't really tell because Nandi sped up.

"Why you speed up? I was trying to be nosey." my twin asked her. She looked slightly uncomfortable and answered, "Because it's none of y'all business of what's happening." She shut the car off.

"We're here."

I was too busy worrying about why she reacted like that but my pool table was calling for me. The rest of the family was already here so I got a sleeping Kynell and headed inside the house. As soon as I walked through that door I was hit by the smell of my momma's grilled steaks. I followed the smell into the kitchen and saw my aunt and mother talking while finished what I presumed to be string beans.

"Hey my favorite niece. I haven't seen you in the longest." my aunt Diane said as she saw my trying to sneak out the kitchen. I stopped. "Hey auntie." I smiled at her but soon Kynell started squirming in my arms. "Aw look at you Kynell you've got so big." she gushed at him as he rubbed his eyes and buried his head beneath my chin. "Weave mwe wone." he grumbled while trying to go back to sleep.

I lightly pat his but and chastised him. "No don't be rude lil boy."

He hit my arm back for hitting him. I arched an eyebrow at him and he began to squirm even more. "Wet mwe gooooo."

Ky I understand you're sleepy but don't your lil ass dare start this.

"Kynell you better stop before you get spanked." my mom said while shooting him a glare. He continued to try to get down. As I was about to put him down Nandi decided to get him from me. "So you starting to be bad lil man? Ima take you upstairs so we can have a talk and you taking a nap. Let's see if this attitude will be gone in an hour."

Kynell got a frightened look on his face and tried to come back to me. "Nope. Too late now."

"Hello Nandi." my auntie greeted her coldly. Nandi just said a soft hi and carried a kicking Kynell upstairs.

Now mt mom and aunt don't exactly like Nandi. We are not going to get into that now but I hope they both behave tonight. "Mom I'm going upstairs to play pool. Where are the rest of the Rachet bunch?" I asked referring to my siblings.

"Some outside. Some in gameroom. Niesha and Remington sleep in her old room." my mom supplied me with an answer.

I thanked her and walked up the stairs. Aniesha's door was closed and I refuse to open it. At least not after last time. I continued pass all the bedrooms and saw the game room. While walking towards it I could hear music and shooting.
