You're My Only Star | Chapter 7!

I got out of the car and Hoshi reached out and slammed the door, he drove away out of my sight. I looked at his car, driving in the distance; 'Why did I have to say that?' I started walking and out of nowhere, it suddenly started raining making me more depressed.

'The rain will hide my sadness.' I reached Augury Plaza and decided to lean against the bridge overlooking the lake. Finally, I let my tears fall because I couldn't hold it in anymore, my best friend isn't talking to me and now the guy I love is also mad at me because of my big mouth.

Although I'm silently crying, all I wanted to do was to scream my lungs out, then suddenly, out of nowhere someone handed me a handkerchief.

"Thank you," I said.

"You're welcome. Why is a beautiful girl crying alone here?" the person asked.

I wiped my tears away and blew my nose, "You?" we both said in unison. I can't believe I'm seeing Song Chanwoo, he looked so handsome and more muscular, 'Sasha, what are you thinking?'

"Sasha Padilla, the nerd. You look so beautiful, I mean you always did," Chanwoo said.

"Yeah, thanks," I replied.

"It's been a long time. Why are you crying?" He asked.

"None of your business. I'm leaving," I replied.

I would've left, but my parents stopped me and I should've known that they brought him. However, I thought I told them to wait for Hoshi and I at The Empress. I couldn't believe my parents wanted me to marry Song Chanwoo, 'I mean I don't have any feelings for him and if I did, it's gone.'

"Mom, Dad, Why did you bring him here?" I asked.

"We know you wanted to get out of the arranged marriage, that's why you told us to go and wait for you and your "fiance" at the restaurant," my mom said, emphasizing the word fiance.

"Mom, Dad, please I just had a fight with my fiance and again it's not fake news, I promise. Please give me some time to think about this," I replied.

My mom and dad take a deep breath, "Sasha dear, you don't have anything to think about because Chanwoo is the one for you, now stop being so stubborn," my dad responds.

"Chanwoo, dear, we let you two catch up, please take all of the time you want," my mom said, patting his head.

I watched Chanwoo acting like he's an angel, 'Trust me, this is all a facade he's putting on in front of my parents. He hasn't changed that fast since high school.' My mom and dad noticed my disgusted expression and warned me to behave myself. After they left Chanwoo and I remained silent until; he broke it—'Why did he have to ruin the silence?'

"Sasha, you told your parents that you have a fiance since when did a nerd have a game?" Chanwoo teasingly asked.

"I don't owe you any explanation, besides, this marriage I'll make sure it won't happen," I replied.

"Sasha, nerdy Pumpkin, your parents told you to behave. Do you want me to call them?" he said.

I balled my fist in anger, but before I could punch him—-Chanwoo held my hand and pulled me closer to him. Our faces a mere inch apart from each other, I unknowingly closed my eyes, then he flicked my forehead.

"Do you believe I'll kiss you? I'll wait for that on our wedding night," Chanwoo said.

"Humph! Like I wanted you to kiss me, I don't want your squirrel lips on mine," I replied.

I turned around to leave, but he pulled me back and kissed me—I immediately pushed him away, slapping him, "Hey! Are you crazy?" I said. He touched his cheek and smirked; "You know I've been wanting to kiss you since high school," Chanwoo said.
