Jordan
<> {} <>"Mother, why are you doing this evil deed?"
"Jordan, it's not evil. Mike wants to spend more time with you. He's your step brother."
"He can be the King of England for all I care! I'm not going to a high school in a brand new city with no friends!"
"Well, there's nothing you can do at this point. The ticket is bought already and I have signed you up at your new school."
Now, let me tell you a few things about myself:
1. I don't shop
2. I don't do make-up
3. I'm pretty much a guy inside a girl's body
4. I don't like having things decided for me"Mom, you can sell the ticket and you can talk to the school. Why do I have to go?"
"Because your half brother wants to get to know you. Now go upstairs and pack."
<> {} <>"Attention passengers, we are now boarding all passengers on flight J-OP382 to Los Angeles, California. Again, we are now boarding all passengers on flight J-OP382 to Los Angeles, California."
Fuck this.
"Hope you have a great f-" The flight attendant quickly shuts up after seeing my glare.
I walk to my seat and sit down next to a guy with jet black hair who looks a year or two older than me. He grins at me.
Sensing that he's gonna want to talk to me, I plug in my headphones and turn up the volume.
"Now this is the story all about how,
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
In west Phil-"I felt a light tap on my shoulder from the black-haired guy.
"Um, sorry to bother you but you're kinda singing really loud." He says, clearly embarrassed. Oh shit, I was singing out loud.
"Shit! I mean, uh, sorry... I didn't know I was singing."
He laughs, "It's fine. So you into that shit?"
"Yeah, Fresh Prince all the way, man." I could feel myself loosening up. Maybe this guy wasn't too bad.
"No kidding, my best friend loves that stuff. So why are you going to LA?"
"Oh, my mom had this crazy idea that I should bond with my cousin and he lives here. So now I'm stuck here for God knows how long." Honestly, I don't think this little 'trip' is going to be that bad. Hell, maybe I can meet Tyler Oakley.
"Cool, I'm visiting my best friend here. Say what's your name?" He adds, "If you don't mind me asking."
"Jordan. Jordan Lisborne. What about you?"
"Leroy O'Malley. Oh, and I'm 17 by the way. Hey, what's your cousin's name? Maybe I know him."
"It's Mi-"
I'm interrupted by a beep, "Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached our destination. Welcome to sunny LA, the current temperature is ninety-seven degrees. Please remain seated until the you see the seatbelt sign turn off."
