Gwen entered her apartment shutting the door behind her. Sitting on her couch, she sighed while reaching into her backpack and taking out her spider suit. She stared at the spandex suit and its rips from her fight earlier. she turned on the news preparing her sewing machine to stitch up her suit. She watched Jamie Jameson's report on the daily news "The vigilante ghost spider today has once again started chaos-this time near Oscar Indesteries. 2 cars were destroyed, and a building was in bad shape. luckily no one was hurt in the process thanks to paramedics. how much harm does she have to do before she is dealt with? more after the pause ". she patted her cat's head "Hi Emma" she said scratching behind the fluffy cat's ears. it purred and looked up at her. Gwen sat down and began stitching up the rips occasionally stopping to give her cat Emma some attention. she held up the suit in front of herself and examined it after deciding it was good she put it into the washing machine.

she paused hearing a knock on the door confused and walked to it turning the nob and looking out. Harry Osborn stood in front of the door "Good afternoon Ms. Stacy." he gulped before continuing "I wanted to catch you before you left your office but I was told you had already left. ". "oh! Yeah- I had some paperwork, and um an errand I had forgotten about" she replied surprised to see her boss yet thinking of a lie off the top of her head. " oh um come in! would you like a cup of coffee or some water?" she opened the door for him, closing it after he'd walk in. "oh no I am fine and you can call me harry, Gwen. I've known you since high school remember?" he said smiling. "yes I know, so what brings you here?" she replied smiling sitting on the couch across from him and watching him sit down. harry showed a bit of nervousness and continued " I was wondering..well my dad is having this ball at the end of the month and I was wondering if you'd like to come" Gwen's face lit up and he continued "With me" he finished looking at Gwen examining her. she took a moment then responded "I'd like that" she smiled excitedly and he smiled back. " would you like to join me tomorrow for lunch?" he then said a little more confident. She hesitated then nodded. he smiled and then checked his watch " I have to get going but I'll see you tomorrow?" he said while getting up. "of course " she said following him in the direction of the door. she watched him leave then closed the door leaning her back on the wall.

messing with her fingers thinking then turned as she heard the beep from her washing machine. Gwen removed her suit putting it in her messenger bag. She looked at the time and rushed to her room. she changed her outfit and started fixing her hair finishing with a black headband. " I'm going to be late! How could I forget!" she said slipping on her black boots and her army green coat. she was supposed to meet with a couple of people in her job over a project in the Oscorp industries. Gwen looked in the mirror as if deciding if it was an okay outfit. She was wearing her army green coat, a sleeveless black turtleneck, a purple skirt, and her black boots. she reached for her umbrella and grabbed the messenger bag. She was soon out the door.

Gwen walked down the steps while opening her umbrella. it was another fall day. The leaves were still falling and the weather was a mix of rain and cold wind. She walked past bakeries, flower shops, and markets. her destination was just another block away. she continued to walk slightly starting to speed up she stopped dead in her tracks when she heard a noise. a weird noise coming from a noise in the alleyway. She raised a brow and slowly walked into the alleyway to investigate, her free hand reaching for the messenger bag. She saw a light on the wall. it was a circle with many many colors hard to skip past. she walked up to it and held up her hand to touch it suddenly she started feeling herself being pulled in. She panicked using all her force to pull away but up to no avail, she was dragged in as it closed behind her.

she fell face flat on "Snow?" she said sitting up on her knees and fixing her hair. She quickly stood up picking up her messenger bag. "where am I?" she said looking around. she was in a park kids ran by playing holding snowballs in their hands. she walked out of the park and walked past shops, stores, and more. she soon realized she was on the busier side of the city. She slowly walks past a small coffee shop but quickly takes a U-turn when she notices a newspaper stand next to the front counter. she opened the door of the shop and reached for a newspaper. "what can I get for you miss?" the cashier said. Gwen looked up and smiled "Can I get a.. chai latte?" she paid and walked to a table reading the newspaper while awaiting her coffee.
