Lovesick

Normal, yes normal is what you would describe for a family dinner conversation following equally between the table some full of love and life and some about their days and how things have been going and others to preoccupied in their own world to notice what was going on around them.

That's what tonight was for Mirabel Madrigal too stuck in her own world to realise her Mamá has been trying to get her attention for the last 25 minutes or to make some type of conversation at all, usually Mira was the one leading most conversations around the dinner table; truthfully she hadn't been really talking much only smiling and sighing every now and then. Since after she returned to the Encanto with her Tio after her supposed 'unplanned' trip to Santa Cecilia where she met Miguel and his family who helped her try to get home she will never be able to repay his kindness for what he did for her, not just but him his entire family especially little Socorro; which is why tonight she had a thought of the letter he sent her a week ago as he promised.

Her family didn't question her smile or her sighs when she came with a piece of paper  in hand every now and then just so happy to see her happy, but when Letters started coming frequently that was when the family decided to ask questions of course Bruno knew about it before hand but he wasn't want to stop them from asking such things. He knew Miguel was a good and trusting man who by far loved his his Sonbrina very much and seeing her smile every time she got a letter made him smile and that was all he needed.

Until Julieta started asking questions and prodding perhaps a little too much.

"Bruno do you know what's happening with Mira she seems a little... I don't know... excited?" She asked

"Why wouldn't she be Julie I mean she is happy and I mean aren't you a little happier knowing that she's happy". Bruno answers

"Huh me happy of course I mean I haven't seen Mija smile like that in ages!!" Julieta exclaimed

Bruno simply smiled.

"Espera you know something I don't ". Julieta put down the cup she holding and raised a finger at him

"Me know something... No ... Besides even if I did I wouldn't tell you". Bruno shooed away as he smirked

That was two weeks ago he still had no idea what to tell his sister especially considering Augustin was in on figuring out what was making their youngest daughter so extremely happy lately, he even heard them whispering coming up with crazy scenarios in their heads about what was making their daughter so infatuated  to be happy but of course he never said a word.

Pepa wasn't much better ethier as she much like her sister kept bothering him about what was making her nube so happy.

"Come on Bruno why don't you tell me?" Pepa wined

"Ay, like I said to Julie I am not saying  a word now can you leave me in peace por favor?" He kindly asked as he picked up the book.

"Fine I'm gonna find out eventually". Pepa stated

"Knock yourself out but just so you know Mira will tell you soon when she's ready and don't come crying to me if you still can't figure it out ". Bruno smirked

"Ah you are no help sometimes you know that". Pepa stormed off cloud forming over her head.

"Sorry not sorry". Bruno smiled

He can still picture her angry face when she walked away and he chuckled at the thought he still remembered the day after she told Félix what happened of course he sighed and told his wife that Mirabel Will tell them eventually.
