Halloween (Solangelo)

"NICO!!" Will yells excitedly as he bursts through the door to the Hades cabin.
"AAGH!!!" Nico exclaims in shock as he jumps for his sword.
"Sorry!" Will raises his hands in surrender and apology.
Nico sighs and places his sword down.
"Godsdammit Will you need to learn to knock"
"Sorry, we're late and I thought you'd be ready"
"For what?" Nico asks, looking confused.
Will gets an equally confused expression. It then turns to shocked and he laughs.
"What? What's so funny!?" Nico demands.
Will continues to laugh, not even trying to stop and explain. Nico only just seems to register the costume that Will is wearing.
"William Andrew Solace!! What is so funny!? Why is Hades are you dressed like that!?"
Nico is extremely confused at this point and he's desperately trying to comprehend his boyfriend's outfit. He was wearing a traditional Grecian toga, a sun-spike crown and he had a laurel bracelet on his wrist. Nico's expression was one of slight amusement and question.
"Wait... are you dressed as Apollo? WHY?"
"You forgot didn't you Deathboy?" Will asks, smirking.
"Forgot what? What did I forget and why are you dressed as your father!?" 
Bursting out laughing again, Will collapses to the floor clutching his stomach.
"OH MY GODS WILL!! WHAT IS IT!?"
"IT'S HALLOWEEN!!"
Nico just had a blank look on his face.|
"What?" Nico asks, his clueless expression evident.
Will's jaw dropped "You don't know what Halloween is!?"
"1930's Italy Will, remember? When you told me Halloween was coming up I thought you were just making a joke with a nonsense word" 
"I have officially failed my job as your boyfriend" Will states plainly from his spot on the floor.

After giving Nico the basic rundown of what Halloween is, Will tries to convince the smaller boy to dress up as well. 
"No. No way are you getting me to wear that" Nico protests after seeing the costume. 
"Aaww, come on Deathboy, it'll be fun. Please?" Will pouts.
"No"
"What if i convince you?" Will asks with a smug grin.
"There's no way in Hades you're going to get me to dress up."
"Oh, I disagree"
"Well the Sunshine, if you're so sure of yourself. Try me" Nico challenges, expecting Will to back out.
"No kisses," Will proclaims, "For a month."
Nico manages to keep a straight face but he knows Will is serious.
"You'll break before I do Sunshine" Nico says, hoping to seem confident.
"Wanna bet?" Will smirks, easily knowing what Nico is doing.
"...no...." 
"Then you'll wear the costume?"
"I hate you." Nico mutters as he snatches the costume from his smug boyfriend, walking to the bathroom to get changed.

Nico emerges from the bathroom a few minutes later with a white bed sheet over his head and a tiara on top. 
"Aaaaaw~ Come on Ghost King, Halloween awaits!" Will exclaims excitedly with a laugh.
Thankfully the sheet covers Nico's blushing cheeks as the two of them exist the Hades cabin to join the other campers for trick or treating.
