The Boogie Man
Lorie Jen Rojo
I.
A time for bed,
When the boogie man,
started talking to my head.
"Your mama's gone!"
A timing for his attack;
no lights are on
I'm all alone.
A shiver to the back,
a thriller to the bone.
II.
When those helter-skelter hands
reached for my barest feet,
Lightning striked like wands,
as he went under my purple blankees,
"I'm the boogie man!",
he held my face and made a threat.
"I'm gonna eat you! hahaha!hmmm.."
and to shout and run was my retreat.
III.
But no one's all around
The boogie man placed me on a roulette,
and spin me round and round.
The boogie man stopped.
"How's the trip?? The stove was ready"
My body can't move nor shout
The boogie man boiled me to the ground
Shouted but there's no sound.
IV.
The boogie man's coming near,
a knife on his back while saying,
"Hi dear, you'll taste like a deer soon! ha-ha!"
