FLAMES erupt inside the mind, battling the oxygen as her thoughts are broken by a powerful, unusual feeling. It pierced everything she tried so hard to keep together. Saya realizes that she has very little time while hiding in the Earth Kingdom. To any civilian curious enough about her secretive origins, they would hear about how she was raised in Omashu and the fond memories of playing in the town...
The bitter truth was that she had born in the tattered Fire Nation.
Living as a dancer doing odd jobs here and there, Saya knows that chaos and fear is trembling underneath the surface. Nothing will stay the same way forever. Even if she buried her lies underneath layers of fear and anxiety. Her dance is curated and strive to be perfect as possible, letting nothing go through the tiny cracks. But someone sees through her act, unveiling everything she'd worked so hard to cover.

erm another fic published that im not sure that anyone will read but hello 👋 with atla LA being released, hopefully you guys still enjoy new atla content! it's not a perfect adaption imo but i really liked dallas as zuko + extra scenes expanding on him so i thought i'd write about the same thing! except this will follow s2-3 of the animation :)
