It's been 3 days since we ended up moving to Italy. And as boring as I thought it would be to hang out with people I barely know except my boyfriend and brother, it wasn't. To be honest, it was pretty lit. Prabha did not take it well when he found out I drank. These 3 days with these guys finally felt like the family Prabha and I never had.
Ali was not as bad as they exaggerated it. Maybe she was like how they exaggerated it, but now she wasn't. In my opinion, all I saw was a badass business woman, an amazing mum, and the sweetest wife. Maybe a corner of my heart ached that I didn't have her as my sister in law, but the rest of my heart knew it was my own brother's fault he didn't have her anymore.
Anbu was cool and welcoming too, few moments of glares came between him and my brother, but that happens, doesn't it? He was quiet talkative, and open, much opposite to his brother Adaikalam. He was quiet, but not too much, pretty much an Ambivert.
Y/N was nice. Calm, composed on the outside, yet crazy when it came to friends and family. JD was amazing, he was apparently a Personality Development Professor in St Joseph's Chennai, so basically you could talk to him about any problem and he'd be all ears to listen.
The kids, oh my gosh the kids they were so cute, and very helpful to the adults. They even did dishes, like wow! I had no idea kids these days did dishes, and these three were barely 8 years old.
And don't even get me started on Sukirdha. She was crazy as fuck, super funny, and very chill towards me dating her brother. Enormously childish too, you couldn't tell she was 23 if she weren't 5'11.
I was currently lying on Aravind's lap at 8 in the evening, waiting for anyone to call us for dinner. It was nice that everyone had dinner together here, so we just went knocking at each other's doors to call everyone for dinner if anyone was wandering downstairs.
Just as I was thinking that, there was a knock on the door. Since I was the one sleeping on his lap I went to open it.
"Hi, Dinner's ready you guys can go downstairs.. And if you can, please drag Aarav into the kitchen" Anbu said.
I chuckled, "Yeah, sure"
When we went downstairs, we found Ali begging Aarav to go to the kitchen. I laughed.
"What happened?" I asked.
"He simply just won't come to the kitchen unless dinner is Pizza" Ali replied, crossing her arms.
"What's dinner?" I asked.
"Dosa" She shrugged. I chuckled, "He's never had Dosa before"
"Right, now I see the problem" I said.
"Let the Child Specialist do the job now" Aravind chuckled.
"Child specialist? Are you a Pediatrician? I thought you were a neurosurgeon" Ali asked.
I chuckled, "I am, I used to work in a nursery during college. Aaru?"
He looked up, "Yeah?"
"You can try dosa no? For me?" I asked.
