First His Brothers Abandoned Him, Then His Grandma Got Taken By A Bergen. Causing Him To become Grey and Depressed. He Was Treated Like An Outcast By The Entire Village... But Not By Princess Poppy.
Poppy was ALWAYS There For him. Trying to Include Him In everything. And even though Branch Tried Pushing Her Away, She never stopped trying to make him happy. Branch, Deep down has always had A Crush on her. Fixing the invitations that he broke and Writing poems about her. Poppy Brought Back Branch's True Colors, She helped him find happiness again... And Later on, Helped him reunite with his Brothers.
