Deus ex machina (Latin: "god from the machine") is a character or object who appears unexpectedly in a story to resolve an apparently unsolvable situation in an unlikely but unexpected event.

But what if that person or object weren't there to save the day? What if they are there for their own agendas instead of helping the heroes? What if, instead of solving the problem, things get worse?

This is the story of Kamen Rider, but not the kind you would expect. Dark Riders, Evil Riders, Villain Riders, and so on. Whatever you call them, they appear unexpectedly throughout fiction, wreaking havoc and destroying both heroes and villains alike.

The term villain originally came from the Medieval Latin word villanus, a sort of synonym of villager.

During that period, the landed aristocracy held a dominant position in both language and politics within medieval society. As a result of their usage of the word, the Middle English word villanus, which originally meant "villager," came to mean "a person with an impolite mind and manners. As the meanings became more negative, the term "villain" came to refer not to a simple backwoodsman but to a purposeful scoundrel or criminal.

Hi there, it's Daichung06 with a new story of Kamen Rider. Before you ask, no, I am not going to abandon my KR reaction anytime soon. I was just taking a short break from the story to focus on something else and rekindle my interest. So, if you are waiting for the reaction story, do not worry; I'll still continue it in the future.

Now for the new story, this is basically a crossover anthology where each Villain Riders visits certain fictions and does their things but in different settings, characters, etc. The majority of these stories will be one-shots, but some may have sequels or prequels, depending on whether I want to expand their story or not. A Rider is given three stories in total, no more or less.

Finally, the most important thing to understand is that this type of story will be biased in favor of the Rider, which is the story's entire point. I will try to be as respectful of the other piece of fiction as possible, but if you do not want to see your favorite fiction being heavily stomped by an evil rubber suit-wearing dude or if you do not want to see one-sided bias, this story is not for you. This story is just me having fun making up scenarios, so please do not send me death threats just because you do not like the premise.
