So far the device had led them to the house Chad's Halloween party was at. Luckily a window was opened so they could easily sneak in. "Pretending?" Max scoffs. "I'll show dad who's pretending." He let out a yelp as he turned, surprised to suddenly see his sister standing there. Phoebe was dressed as a pirate and she had her arms crossed, narrowing her eyes at him. Millie had gasped at suddenly seeing Phoebe there and she jumped a bit, placing her hand over her heart.
"Max, what are you doing here? I thought you were out ghost hunting." Phoebe sighs. "And you dragged Millie with you?"
"Okay, to be fair she willingly went with me." Max pointed out.
"Doesn't mean I want to catch the Green Ghoul though." Millie reminded him.
"Anyway, my Ghost Zapper is detecting extreme ghost activity at this party. I think it'll lead me right...To..." Max continues to follow the device, the girls following him as well. He pauses as he looks up, his face falling at seeing Myles dancing. "Myles!" He exclaimed with a frown. Myles was at the party, dressed in a costume as well. He smiled at Millie and Max, pointing at them and kept dancing. Millie chuckled and rolled her eyes at him.
"Drive the bus." Myles makes a honking noise, pretending to drive a bus as he dances. "Drive the bus." He kept doing that while he danced across the room.
"He has some weird dance moves." Millie mumbled and the twins nodded in agreement.
"Wait a minute..." Max said after his device makes a noise. "Myles isn't the only ghost here. The hunt continues." He looks up from the device, grimacing at seeing the bouncer looking their way. "Uh-oh, bouncer's coming."
"Millie, don't you have your invite with you? You should be on the list since Chad invited you." Phoebe said.
"Yeah, I have it." Millie admits, pulling the invite out of her pocket. She hadn't took it out of her pocket yet and honestly had forgotten it was there until Phoebe mentioned it. She's surprised when Max suddenly grabbed her hand as the bouncer started walking towards them. "What are you doing?" She whispered to Max despite the fact she didn't mind that they're holding hands.
"I don't have an invite. Just pretend to be my girlfriend." Max whispered back, trying to ignore his racing heart and the way his face was growing warm.
"Hey, kids, I don't remember checking you two in." The bouncer said, walking over to them before Millie could process what Max just said. He glances at Millie. "What's your name?"
"Millie Flanagan, um, my name should be on there. I think." Millie replied with a nervous smile.
"Yeah and relax buddy, I'm with my girl. I'm her plus one, right, babe? I'm her boyfriend." Max lied, glancing at her with a small smile.
"Right, yeah, he's my date." Millie agreed, glancing at Max as well with a smile, her face heating up a bit.
"Uh, right, sorry, go ahead." The bouncer apologized and walked away.
