'fuck' it was the beginning of english class and you didn't have a book, forgetting it in your locker. you raised your hand, waiting for the teacher to see you.
"yes, [name]? what is it?" she questioned. "uhm i don't have a book.." she sighed and gave you a stern glare, "go grab one off the shelf. and next time, please come to class prepared miss [last name]."
you gave her a dirty look and mocked her once she had turned her back towards you. getting up, you grabbed a book from off of the bookshelf where all of the extras were kept.
you sat back down in your seat but then felt your phone buzz. you hid the device behind the book you held, hoping the teacher wouldn't catch you.
