Theo shook his head as he left Vienna. He made his way through the aisles with his chin up.
I mean, how could he not hold it up after what just happened? He just scored Vienna Dumont.
As he walked out of the library, he practically bumped right into Draco.
"Ah, Malfoy. Haven't seen you in a minute," Theo commented.
Draco really had not been in his classes, or his dorm, or at meals. It's rare to see him these days, and no one knew why, but no one really bothered to know why either.
"Since when do you go to the library?" Draco bit.
He was always hostile.
"To hook up with Vienna. She's hot as fuck," Theo said.
Draco's eyes grew wide. "That's fucking disgusting. You can't be serious."
Theo chuckled. "So serious."
"She's really making her way around," Draco commented.
"Don't talk about her like that. You don't even know her," he defended.
"Trust me, I know enough."
"Clearly not, but is this where you spend all your time now? Are you trying to pass Vienna up in academics? She seems to have you rattled."
Draco's face faltered and he adjusted his bag. He comes to the library at least once a week for almost a whole day to get all the work done that he missed throughout the week.
"It has nothing to do with her."
"Oh, uh huh. You're so jealous."
Draco narrowed his eyes at Theo. "What could I possibly be jealous of? You just hooked up with someone in the library!"
Theo smirked. "Exactly. And not just anyone. Vienna Dumont."
"Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Just know, she won't be around forever, so don't get hooked," Draco said.
Theo raised an eyebrow. Something about the way Draco just spoke seemed cynical... but then again, this is Draco. He is all talk. Nothing ever comes about his threats, and Theo is one who would know.
One time in third year, he "accidentally" died Draco's hair hot pink. Draco threatened to tell his father, but as far as Theo knows, nothing ever actually occurred from that.
"Please, that is so cute of you. You're like a little teddy bear deep down. Nothing ever comes about your little threats," said Theo as he went to pinch Draco's cheek. His attempt was quickly shut down by Draco slapping his hand away.
"Yeah, you say that now, but just you wait," Draco retorted.
"Oh, I will," Theo said with a smile as he left Draco alone, who was rather worked up.
He huffed loudly and made his way into the library. Chatter could be heard throughout, so he continued on his way until he reached the back of it. He always liked the peace and quiet, especially when studying.
However, it seemed he would not be getting the peace he wanted because his sworn enemy sat at his favorite table.
She instantly glanced up, and her eyes looked him up and down before a sense of amusement appeared on her face.
"Get that stupid look off your face. I'm not next in line," he bit.
Her mouth twisted into a smirk. "You ran into Theo, huh?"
"Yeah, and you both are fucking disgusting."
She smiled at him and closed her book before sitting up. "Your virgin ass just can't handle the thought of Theo sitting in that chair right there," she said while pointing at the chair across the table from her, "and me on top of his lap, riding his dick, and then him bending me over the table and making me scream."
Draco's face turned bright red. "I-I... who to--"
She stood up and walked over to him. "I-I-I... cat got your tongue, love?" she purred. "Doesn't matter who told me. It's so obvious no girl has ever given you any form of attention, but it's even more obvious that you crave it."
"Yeah, right. I have no interests in whatever you're doing. My focus is being the best I can be so I can keep my life."
His voice shook ever so slightly as she stopped, just inches away from him.
"And even if I was, I would never think about doing anything with you."
She glanced down before looking back into his eyes and giggling softly to herself.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Get your little friend on the same page next time before saying that to me again."
His face burned red as his hand shot down to cover himself.
"I live in your head rent-free, huh? First you want to pretty much be me, and now you want to fuck me? Oh, Draco, baby..."
"No, fuck you."
"You wish."
"You're so immature. Not everything is about you. Not everyone envies you or wants to be with you. Get it through your thick skull that you aren't all that."
She crossed her arms and cocked her head ever so slightly at him. "No need, because I am all that. You don't have the balls to fulfill the task. You can't even look Voldemort in the eyes. How in the world do you think you'll be the one to succeed?"
"Because I'm not the one sleeping around and partying every night."
"What can I say? I like to keep life interesting. And just you wait. You may think you're ahead of me, but I'm always three steps ahead. You don't know it, but I'm waiting for the perfect time, and when it comes, I'm seizing it, and being successful when I do so. You and your family will not see the light of day once I make my move, so don't underestimate me," she seethed.
He swallowed and glanced off to the side. "I-I."
"Form coherent sentences before talking to me again. Now run along," she taunted.
His eyes narrowed at her. He hated her, and even more than Harry Potter. This conversation only seemed to solidify his hatred for her, and he could not even deny that a big reason as to why he hated her was because he envied and feared her. She clearly has had no issues making her way up to the top, and he knew she would stop at nothing, even if she has yet to make a move.
As he walked away though, he vowed to himself that she would not be the last one laughing. In that moment, he swore to himself that he would be the one to come out successful, because he wanted more than anything to wipe that stupid, no-good, cocky smirk off of her stupid face.
