I know your hurting. I know you built up those walls that not even a wrecking ball could knock down but please let me be the first. Let me in. I'm tired of not understanding. I'm tired of being on the outside. You're locked up but give me the key. I want to let you know, I want you to be my person. My person to call at 2 in the morning when I can't sleep. My person who can look into my eyes and know every thought I'm having in that moment. Let me feel your kind of sad. Teach me what you believe, how you fall asleep at night. Teach me what the sound of your voice is like in the morning and what cartoons you watch on Saturdays. Teach me the script of your favorite movie that you've spent hours watching on repeat. Let me love you in a way no body else can. I'm not a swing, stop pushing me away. I can cut the rope to this tire just as easily as I put it up. So let me come crashing into your heart, full force. Let me understand everything about you about your body. Let me be the one who doesn't need to guess your next move, because I'll just know. And If I have to tear down those walls brick by brick I will. And trust me, it's going to be hard. But you are my person. So let me be yours.
