chapter 4 hello baby!

Twilight was even more excited to tell her friends that a little foal was on the way! But twilight was a bit nervous since this was her first and never experienced having children.

3 months later...

Hey everyone! Ive got some even more exciting news to tell! Pinkie rushed over and began to go crazy excited.

Let me guess, you and Flash went to the hospital, and they said your having a foal and now that's what you are trying to tell us!!!she said speeding through her words.

Umm yes pinkie, how did you know? Twilight said confused. Oh, just a hunch! Pinkie said smiling.

Ummm ok... Rainbow said shocked. Oh darling! I will have to whip up some fabulous little onesies! Rarity said happily.

Well Twilight, foals can be quite a handful, I know because I have 3. I can help anytime you need me too. Also it will give my foals a little playmate. Fluttershy said quietly and sweetly.

I'll have to get Granny Smith to make a blanket for little... uh... what are you planning on naming the baby Twilight?

Oh, me and Flash haven't thought about that just yet. But we know the foal is a boy!
Now that you mention it, I'm thinking maybe Thunder Zap.

Ooooh I really like that name! Pinkie said smiling. Yes it's... nice. Rarity said sweetly.
Well we are extremely happy for you sugarcube! Applejack said.

I don't even know the first thing about taking care of a foal. Twilight said. Well we all know you will do great! Rainbow

6 months later

Twilight was rocking in her chair rubbing her swollen belly, when all of a sudden her water broke.

Flash ran in wondering what all the screaming was, what! What is it! Twilight?!
Is the baby coming!!! Yes Flash! The baby is coming! Twilight screamed in pain.

Flash stumbled over everything in his path trying to get everything together for the arrival of their new foal.

Finally he got everything together and got Twilight and walked out the door. They finally walked into the hospital and nurse Redheart got Twilight in a wheelchair and wheeled her into labor and delivery.

Twilights friends ran into the hospital. Where is Twilight! Is she OK! Pinkie said scared. Flash looked up worried, yes she's fine as far as I know. But all that screaming is freaking me out!

Well I had 3 and let me tell you, it's not fun at all. But the pain only lasts for a short while. Fluttershy said quietly.

Let me guess... the chaos is even worse now? Rainbow said. Yes, sadly, Fluttershy responded.

Just then, the nurse came out with a beautiful little foal. They all looked through the glass to see Twilights baby. Awwww look at her baby! Isn't he just adorable! I can't wait to party with him and make silly faces! Pinkie said excitedly.

Look! And he's a Pegasus! Now they are really gonna have their hands full! Applejack said surprised.

Later on after everyone left, Flash walked into the room where Twilights was holding their baby. Oh Twilight, you did such an amazing job! He looks just like you! Flash said shedding a tear.

Nurse Redheart walked in as everyone was comfortable. Alright miss Twilight. Do you have a name for baby?

Actually I do have a name picked out. How about... Thunder Zap? That's a beautiful name Twilight! Nurse Redheart said happily. She then walked out leaving Twilight and Flash to look at their little foal.

I'm so glad to have that over with! That was hard! Twilight said tired. Well I'm just happy that we have our little Thunder Zap. I can't wait for the adventure that awaits us. Flash said happily. I can't wait either, Twilight said.
