You were trying to just walk fast, but you were almost always almost running. Tommy noticed that, you seemed to really want to get your business done and go to Charlotte. Though it never left him that Quackity had a family, had brothers, sisters, parents. He never talked about it, and Tommy only had more questions.
- Hey, stop running like that, old man! How do you have so much strength in you - Blondie said raising his eyebrows as he felt you dragging him behind you again.
- And why are you so young and have already run out of stamina? - you ask with a smile, stopping and looking at him.
- of course not! I'm the strongest man! I'm just... Worried about you. - he said, crossing his arms over his chest and turning the other way.
- Oh, Thanks for your concern, I didn't think a strong man like you would worry about me- you said, smirking, before turning back around and starting to walk again. You were already starting to see the entrance to the guild. And as always there were several groups of people hanging out there, some newbies, some customers and your most hated group is the gang with the lizard hybrid in charge.
You just frowned and walked towards the entrance, keeping Tommy behind you as close as you could.
- You didn't even notice as the lizard, or Travis, the sadistic gang leader, came up to you and started trying to bully you again.
- what'd you call me, you backyard dog?! - suddenly says Tommy getting annoyed and trying to pounce on Travis, causing him to back up, but you quickly catch Tommy by his arms and pull him back.- Tommy calm down and put your filthy tongue back in your mouth, you can't swear and fight in my presence - you said pulling Tommy back behind you.
Travis had been trying to hurt you with words ever since you were a kid, even though you could fight back. Once when you were a kid you bit him on the arm and he still has a scar, and around the time you were both new to the guild you broke his arm. Well, you two have always had a bad competitive streak.
- Hey, keep your chihuahua to yourself! - shrieked Travis, retreating back to his gang. Tommy only got more angry at being called that name, his tail wagging irritably.
- Travis, if you don't shut up and run back to your boys now, I'm going to cut your tail off and eat it for breakfast," you say threateningly, only taking your axe out of your coat pocket for a moment to let him know you're not doing well.
- I'm gonna tell the boss about you! - he growled as he walked away with his gang into the alley.
- Sorry he got off on the wrong foot today, one of his members said to you with a wink.
- you can let me go now," Tommy muttered and you just took his hand, but didn't let go completely and turned back to the door.Inside it was pretty ordinary. There was a sofa with warm fur on the sides, a foyer directly across from the entrance to take orders with three windows, on the far side of the room was a corridor that led further into the buildings, there were carpets on the floor and small lights hanging from the ceiling. There were a few people near the cash register.
You went to the cash register and Tommy followed you and looked around.
- oh, hi Y/n! Good to see you today, as I see you're not alone today - says the guy behind the cash register with a smile and giggling as always.
- Hi, Aha, now I have a few more things to do, Yaakov - you said it with a chuckle.
- and by the way, here's your order list, you have a few more orders this time, you're just doing really well - the kid said, pulling out a small stack of sheets tied with string.
- Oh, thank you, I don't think I'll ever have any free time... - you said with a smile. Not that you need that free time, but still joking about something doesn't mean you want it. You tucked a stack of papers into your coat pocket.
- I heard your friend Charlotte arrived, how is she, is she still as good? - Jacob asked smiling.Tommy just stood behind you, seeing the dialog appearing between you and the cashier. You seem to know every citizen in town, but you still act like you have a cold heart. And he didn't know you for sure, he didn't know anything about you at all.
