chapter 3!

  a/n Aaaa, chapter 3, guys! :D my friend is promoting this fic anyway as possible o.o but I may post chapter 4 on Friday or next week :))

                                                                  Chapter 3 !!!!! Sophist's pov o.o

It was a long day today in the Kingdom of Orlin. I helped my mother, Sandra or Sandy, out.

 You see, I am not like one of those pesky royals, I am just a commoner just like my folk, and to the surprise of nobody, I met a royal today. I met the one and only Prince Brent, who is next to the heir of the throne. I guess you can say that we became friends. 

I met him by his kingdom's fence. The Kingdom of Orlin is very close to the Kingdom of Skill, unlike Yoshi's Island, which is right beside the border, kind of protected by thousands of guards! One day I'm going to grow up to become one of those guards my mother told me. I guess commoners who are male have to become guards. I don't really know, to be honest.

As I arrived at my house, I saw my mom pacing back and forth as if she were going to a meeting or something. 

"Mom, are you okay?" I questioned her as I closed the door behind me. 

She stopped pacing and looked at me.

 "Please tell me you didn't meet a royal," She asked, looking at me with a worried face. 

I gulped, "Yes mother, I did meet a royal," I said, looking down at my shoes ashamed. I didn't understand why she was mad. 

"I'm not mad, sweetheart," she said. 

It's like she read my mind. 

"Then why ask?" I remarked in a sassy mood.

 She started to tap her foot. "Apparently someone saw you, and you know how the King doesn't like it whenever someone doesn't obey his laws," She stated. 

Oh, right, I forgot about his stupid rules. His stupid rules that we, commoners, have to follow. If I'm going to be honest, I'm pretty sure Orlin is stricter than any other kingdom. I looked her straight in the eyes. "Why do we even have to follow his rules?" I cried out. I wasn't crying. It's just these dumb rules that we had to follow. 

She walked towards me and hugged me. "I'm sorry, sweetheart," she whispered.

The king was preparing to come to my house. I started to run away as my mother instructed me to. I would come back, though. 

I'm going to see Prince Brent again; as I'm hoping he's still there. I told him I would come back soon. I made my way to the fence, and to my surprise, he was there! 

He was messing around with a stick sitting beside the wired fence.

 "Hey Brenster," I yelled out as I made my way towards him. 

He turned his head around and saw me in my usual top hat, that my mother gave me, with a purple sweater and some black jeans to top it all off. I had my Eevee backpack with me. 

He wore his usual prince outfit. "Hey there, Eevee!" He exclaimed.

 I finally sat down beside him. The fence may have been keeping us separate, but that's okay.

 "Did you have any fun after I left?" I questioned. 

He shook his head.

 "My mom only came, but that's just it," He sighed. I nodded as a reply. "We did go to a meeting, and I told my friends about you," he explained.

 Hmm, some new friends sound really nice right now.

 "What are they like?" I asked him.

 He looked up at me and stopped playing with his boots.

 "Well prince nick will probably be mean at first but don't let that bother you he is super nice when you get to know him," he explained, "Prince Vernias is very nice, probably one of the best friends I've met!" he said. 

He had a wide smile. 

I smiled back at him.

Our fun ended when Brent's mom came. She looked like she was in a rush.

 "Prince Brent, I have terrible news!" She announced while rushing over here. 

She made her way over here. She acknowledged me and bowed at me.

 I'm no royal, but it's a sign of respect to bow to others.

 "The Kingdom of Orlin has been destroyed by King Bowser!" She explained. 

Wait, Kingdom of Orlin? My eyes widened at the news. 

"What?" Brent added. He looked at me with a worried tone. "I need to go," I said. "Wait!" Brent's mom tried calling out for me, but I took off immediately. I need to find my mother.

So, what happened next... I love cliffhangers :)

Anyways these 4 remind me of the descendants (the movie) for some reason so give what character will be which! mwahahahahaha
