Chapter 931: Mysterious Little Black Eggs
They sailed on the sea for a few days. The heavens were on their side and everything had been calm.
Yan Jiuchao, Yu Wan, and the others boarded a huge ship the size of three to four pleasure boats. They sailed on deep water and sailed steadily. This was undoubtedly a good thing for the pregnant Yu Wan.
If it was too fast and bumpy, she would get seasick.
The weather gradually became a little hot, but the sea breeze was very comfortable. Yu Wan stood on the deck and looked at the endless deep sea.
“Madam, it’s too hot here.” A maidservant walked over with an oil paper umbrella and placed it on Yu Wan’s head.
This maidservant was called Ping’er. She was brought up by the three bosses before she boarded the ship. They said that her body was inconvenient and it was good to have another maidservant serve her.
Ping’er was petite and could barely be considered delicate and pretty. In the crowd, she might not be noticed at a glance, but she was an expert. Other than
Fu Ling and Zi Su, she was the most suitable maidservant she had ever used.
“How old are you this year?” Yu Wan asked.
“I’m seventeen,” Ping’er said.
Yu Wan murmured, “Seventeen, it’s time to get married.” Fu Ling and Zi Su were also seventeen. When they returned to the Helian Manor in Nanzhao, she would arrange a marriage for them.
“I’m not getting married,” Ping’er said.
“Huh?” Yu Wan looked at her in confusion.
Ping’er whispered, “I want to serve Madam for the rest of my life.”
Yu Wan burst into laughter.
Ping’er was a little stunned. She had really not seen a little fatty that was so beautiful for a long time. However, her words just now were sincere. Her family was poor and she had been sold to the docks to work since she was young. She had done all kinds of dirty and tiring work. She had served several masters, but none of them was as good-tempered and temperamental as Madam.
Madam was generous and the clothes she rewarded her were all new.
Occasionally, when she did something wrong, Madam would not beat or scold her. It would be best if she could serve such a master for the rest of her life.
“You…” Yu Wan smiled and looked at the endless sea.” I came from a very far place. If you follow me, you won’t be able to go home anymore.”
If not for the sake of finding the whereabouts of the Sorcerer King, she would never have passed by the Jade Nation in her life.
“Ah…” Ping’er was shocked.
Yu Wan smiled and untied her cloak. “It’s hot from the sun. Let’s go back.”
“Yes, Madam!” Ping’er changed the umbrella in her left hand to her right and supported Yu Wan towards the room.
After taking a few steps, Yu Wan heard a row of familiar laughter, as if someone was laughing like a pig with their hands on their hips. She stopped in her tracks.
That laughter was gone again.
“Madam, what’s wrong?” Ping’er sensed her strangeness and asked with concern, “Are you feeling unwell? Do you want me to invite Doctor Cui?”
“There’s no need,” Yu Wan said. She wasn’t feeling unwell. Moreover, even if she was feeling unwell, she was a doctor herself. There was no need for Divine Doctor Cui to treat a small illness.
