2| The first meet

NIGHT-

Tejaswini's pov-

I went back to my room and went to take a hot shower as my body was aching badly.

I came out of the shower , wore my pajamas and did my skin care routine , then I threw myself upon the bed groaning in satisfaction when I finally got rest.

I took out my pen and diary and starting writing a new chapter of my book.
Yes, I write books on this orange app.

As I was done writing the chapter i updated it, after that i thought to took a quick nap.

I was sleeping calmly, just then my freaking phone rang, that ruined my sleep. I looked at my phone and it showed 'Nikhil' so i picked up the call

"Hmm.... " I said in a sleepy voice

"Himmat I know you fell asleep but now get up and reach to the dinning table, and please don't be late I don't want my soon to be wife to get angry " He said

Okay okay I said and ended the call
I got up from the bed, fixed myself a little bit then I walked out downstairs towards the dinning area.

(Dinner place)

I reached the dinning area and greeted everyone and sat beside aditi
Me, aditi, aashna ,nikhil and Rudra were sitting together.

The dinning area looked peaceful and elegant at the same time. The chattering filled the room with lively atmosphere.
mine, Nikhil's , aditi's and Rudra's parents knew each other very well and had a good friendship , they we're all laughing, telling eachother jokes and eating.

"Oye nikhil, sameer will join us tomorrow,his flight got delayed." Rudra said to nikhil.

𝙁𝙚𝙬 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧-

"So Nikhil Singhania joota churai mein kya dega ?" I asked to nikhil
(How much will you give me in the joota churai ceremony? )

(Basically, the Joota Churai is all about stealing the groom's shoes as soon as he takes them off (as the South Asian custom demands) while heading to the Mandap. The sisters, cousins, and other female relatives of the bride are the culprits - they are expected to hide the shoes after stealing them.)

"Ek rupaye bhi nhi dunga" He replied
(Not even 1 rupees)

"Arey arey aise thodi hota hai ,it's a ritual" I said responding to him

"Dekh yaar humare yaha toh aisa hi hota hai" He said

(See, this is what happens at our place)

"Beta, tum extra pair lete aana" Maa said

(You should bring the extra pairs)

"Nice idea aunty" Nikhil said

"Arey maa, aap ladke walon ki taraf se hai ya ladki walon ki taraf se? " I said

( mom, from whose side are you, the groom's or the bride's?)

"Oops sorry" Maa said

Then we all greeted good night to each other and went to our respective rooms.

After we all had our dinner I went to my room threw myself upon the bed and scrolled through social media for a little bit. Just then a knocking voice was heard from my door. I looked at my phone to see the time and it imprinted 11:30 , I walked towards the door and opened it, I saw aashna standing there. As I opened the door she came inside saying

" Didi, were you seriously going to sleep!? " She asked

"Yes, or what should I do?" I said chuckling

"Arey dii, we didn't come here to sleep, let's have some fun. Chalo, we are going to aditi bhabhi's room and we will have pajama party"She said pulling me out of the room.

Now we were standing in front of aditi's room, aashna knocked the door.
Aditi came and opened the door asking

"Hey guys! Why you both are here!?" With a confused look

"Chal hatt raaste se pahle, humein andar toh aa jaane de" I said to aditi and pushed her inside the room, she also followed us closing the door.

( get out of the way and let us come inside)

"Bhabhi we will have a pajama party " Aashna said to aditi in a excited tone

And she also agreed to that , aashna had already brought all the drinks and snacks with her.

" Let's watch FRIENDS " Aditi said
To which me and aashna nodded cheerfully

We all sat on bed covered ourselves with duvet and starting watching the show, we ate snacks and drank cold drinks as we continued to the movie.

𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙬 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 -

By the end of the episode both aashna and aditi were in deep peaceful sleep, but i wasn't able to sleep till now Then I felt like taking a walk.

Then I got outside the room and started roaming around I was passing by the pool side where the cold night air embraced me .

I was reading a book on my phone while I had a glass of drink in my other hand, it was 2am in the morning.

Suddenly I bumped into someone and I was about to fall in the pool, just then a hands with tight grip held me from my waist and after few seconds,

I opened my eyes and there was a man his hazel eyes shown bright under the moon light, his sharp jawline ,dark eyebrows. I gazed at him and tried to figure out what was going on.
