5| The dance

Tejaswini's pov -

He was none other than that creep Ranveer, he kept his hand on my waist, and for a second I felt like my breath hitching at the hot man standing infront of me, I felt shy and nervous at the same time i don't know why. I looked up and found him staring at me, I tried to move out of his hold but he wrapped his whole arm around my waist and pulled me more closer than ever due this sudden pull our nose crashed together making shivers running all over my body.

Ranveer's pov-

The party was going on, I was standing there talking to rudra and sameer and having a conversation.

I looked around, I found something shiny and different more like someone who just entered. I looked at her more clearly, she was none other than that stubborn, irritating and fierce girl. I did not knew her name and nobody even told me. I don't know why but she was very different and so captivating that i couldn't just tear my gaze from her.

My breath was caught in my throat, I couldn't move my eyes away from the angelic beauty standing infront of me, she looked so beautiful and etheral that i couldn't believe that she was real. Her hairs was flowing a little due to the wind.

The entry song started playing and she was walking behind Aditi.

i wanted to know her name so I asked Rudra "what's her name?" Pointing towards her

"O MY GOD, the cold and arrogant Ranveer Singh Rathore is asking a girl's name, am I dreaming?"
as he is Rudra kashyap how can he leave a chance to tease me.

"Drama mat kar, I just want to know" I said

" Ooooo you just want to know, uss raat wala uska punch bhool gaya kya" He said and laughed with Sameer making my joke

I gave him a questioning look again and a death glare as well , I looked at him waiting for my answer

"Her name is Tejaswini, Tejaswini Awasthi, she is Aditi's childhood bestfriend"
And finally he gave me my answer.

After few minutes-

I heard the host telling the ceremony is about to begin. I saw tejaswini on the stage.

"So Nikhil Singhania first of all she is not just my best friend, she is my sister and i will not tolerate if you will ever hurt her or make her cry, don't you dare to ever hurt her otherwise Maine tera muhh tod dena hai, though I know you will not but still " She said to Nikhil looking straight into in his eyes, her voice was so magical.

Aditi laughed at her words, she side hugged her and Aditi kissed her cheeks
She then placed aditi's hand above Nikhil's.

The wedding planner came and gave her rings. Aditi and Nikhil exchanged rings. Everyone cheered and hooted for them.

Just then all the lights went dim, slow song started playing and everyone started dancing, it was a couple dance.

Aashna took me with her to the dance floor for a dance , Everyone was swinging with the music. Sameer was on the dance floor with the wedding planner and Tejaswini was with rudra.

Everyone was swinging, just then Everyone twirl their partners and i was met with something or more like someone so soft colliding with me.

She was none other than Tejaswini , my breath hitched looking at her from so closely. Her amber eyes looking into my hazel eyes, her perfectly sculpted face, her long lashes, her plump lips, She was mesmerizing my chains of thoughts broke when I saw her eyes widening and she was going to pull back but i pulled her closer to me by keeping my arm around her waist. Our noses were touching and i felt something.
What the fuck is wrong with me?

And we stared at eachother, she was so annoyingly beautiful.

I leaned in more. What's happening to me? She was too staring at me with some kind of emotion twirling in her eyes. She looked at me and shot a glare but i twirl her around and again caged her between my arms from behind. Her light brown hairs with bronze highlights had fragrance of some fresh flowers, she smelled so fucking good that i felt like dripping my head in her hairs. I was brought out of my thoughts when I found her trying hard to get out of my face. As I was looking at her beauty only in few seconds she disappeared from their.

Few hours later-

Everyone was enjoying the party, I was standing there and Rudra, Sameer, Nikhil also joined me.

" Kyu bhai, kaisa laga Tejaswini ke sath dance karke? " Rudra said smirking
(Why brother, how did you felt while dancing with tejaswini?)

And they all laughed

Bastard

"Shut up, it was just a coincidence " I replied to them

"Hmm hmm coincidence" They said it together smirking.

Just then all the elders were calling us for the dinner and we made our way to the dinning table.

I reached the table with Nikhil, Rudra and Sameer.

Aashna, aditi and Tejaswini was already sitting there.

We came and sat on the seats infront of them and again I sat infront of her only, our eyes met for a second and I kept staring at her for some reason I want to keep looking at her but then she looked away. Wait is she avoiding me?
Everyone was cheering and having champagne, Their chattering filled the place with lively atmosphere.
