On the next day, Group of Pawnee are ridden on their horses. They are coming. They are heading to Lakota tribe camp. At tribe camp, Lakota are ready to defend themselves. Cheyenne hugged Kenyon to stay calm. She is running naked. She heading to teepee. Lakota woman hugged children to keep them safe. She told her to hold her son. She ran off to join the fight. Pawnee are getting closer. She ran to White Falcon, Chief Sitting Bull. She asks them if they are ready. The Chief told Cheyenne they are ready. Lakota people getting their weapons ready. Some are hidden in teepees. Pawnee arrived. Pawnee leader asked them they have food. The Chief replied they do. He asked them to have a drink, talk to them. Cheyenne told them they are peaceful people. One of Lakota children are on hill. He was aiming with a bow and arrow. Both continue having conversation. He takes aim. He shot at the Pawnee leader. The arrow hit his leg. It causes him to scream in pain. Lakota pop out of teepee. War cry. They fired their guns at Pawnee Indians. Some Lakota fired their bow and arrows. Pawnee return fire with guns, bow, and arrows. Lakota inflicted casualties on Pawnee. Pawnee inflicted casualties on Lakota too. Cheyenne fired her Winchester rifle at Pawnee Indians. One Pawnee Indian jump off horse, land on her. He draws his knife. Both shoving each other. Pawnee Indians rode around tribe camp. She gains the upper hand. She is pushing his hand away. She grabs her Colt Peacemaker revolver. She put it on his stomach. Cheyenne shoot, kill him. One Pawnee warrior charged towards Lakota with his tomahawk. Lakota tried to load his rifle. Then, he whacks him with rifle butt. He is still standing. She appears. She shoots him with her Colt Peacemaker revolver, kill him. Cheyenne tells him to use his gun. Lakota return to fire at Pawnee. One Lakota warrior ran, reloading his Sharps carbine. One Pawnee warrior used his knife to cut through a teepee. He pops in. Children scream. He frightened them with his knife. Lakota woman armed with Henry rifle. She shot, kill him. Lakota gains momentum. Pawnee are losing battle. They continued firing at Pawnee. They are getting heavy casualties. Pawnee are forced to retreat. Pawnee leader ran away. He is heading to the river. He sees a group of Lakota pursue him. He was afraid. He was surrounded by Lakota. He was overwhelmed. He let war cry. Then, they shoot him. Gun shot echo. He fell. He is dead. They war cried. The fight is over. They won. Cheyenne appears. She sees the battle ended. After battle, Chief Sitting Bull grateful for help save his people. Cheyenne is ready departure for another adventure. So, they give her supplies, ammunition. She got Kenyon. She is on cradleboard on her back. She tells Tahoe to move. They are off to go. She rode her horse. They travel through prairies. They continue to travel. They are heading to the lake. It is afternoon. Cheyenne is sweating, filthy. She continued to ride her horse. Then, she stops. She sees a small old post. She went to the building. She sees an old drawer, a small old stove. She also sees hooks hanging on ceilings. It was abandoned. Cheyenne walks out of the building. She tells her horse. They will stay for the night. Later, she was at the lake. She is naked. She has to take her Indian clothes off so it wouldn't get wet. She was taking a bath. She also gives Kenyon a bath. She washes him up. She is humming a lullaby. Then, she was playing with her son. She dives him in water. She is holding him to the air. Baby giggled. She smiled and laughed. Cheyenne hugged and kissed him. Mommy will take care of and protect him. After bath, she is on hunt. She was watching herds of deer. They are eating. She is aiming at her rifle. She takes aim. She fired. Gun shot echo. She caught a deer. Then, she drags deer back to her small house. Cheyenne built fire. She prepared food. She uses her knife to carve. She cooked it. She hugged, petting her child. Baby cooed. After cooking her food, she is ready to eat her meal. She eats her meal. After the meal, she hugged, rocking Kenyon. He is resting on mom's breast. She breastfeeds him. He sucks mom's breastmilk. Then, Cheyenne is out in forest. She carried her son on her back. Kenyon is on cradleboard. She gathered food and wood. She chopped wood with an axe. She collected berries and wood. She is heading back to the post. But happening goes wrong. She sees American soldiers explored her home. Some soldiers are riding on wagon. He shouts. He sees young, dark-skinned woman. He thought for mistaken her as Native American. He shoots at her. She ducks, laying down. Baby cried. She hugged him to stay calm. She aims with her Winchester rifle. She returns fire. But she misses. The soldiers return fire with their Springfield carbines. Then, they reload. She cocks her rifle again and return fire again. She cocks her weapon, fired repeatedly. Then, one American soldier was behind her. She turns around. He knocks her head with rifle butt. American soldier splash water at her. She wakes up. American soldiers have interrogated her. Cheyenne asked them what they wanted. He tells him she is Native American. She replied she is half black, half Lakota. He is surprised. He introduced himself, Major Gilmore of United States Army. He tells her they are on mission to find Indians. So, he will cooperate with her to find them. Later, she rode on wagon. Her hands are tied behind back. They ride their horses. Cheyenne reaches for her knife. She starts to cut ropes. Soldier continues rode on wagon. She continues to cut rope. Then, she grabs his head, cut his throat, and kill him. The soldier shouts. She grabs his Colt Single Action Army revolver. She fired at American troops. They return fire. She manages kill three. She pops up, returns fire. Then, she discards it. She picks up her Winchester rifle. She fired at American troops. Cheyenne calls her horse. He ran off. She got her baby. She hops on. She rode off. American troops decided not to pursue her. She is finally free. She continued to ride her horse. She stops.
