Four years... It's been four years since Dazai left the Port Mafia. Chuuya was sitting in a bar while drinking wine. He was lost in thoughts. That was the day when Dazai left him... probably forever. He hated to admit but he kinda missed the tall brunette.
"This is ridiculous, I hate him. I was happy that he left, right?... Right?..." He muttered to himself while sipping from the wine. "That damned mackerel... he ruined everything." He put his half empty glass on the table.
"Chuuya, I would've never guessed you would think about me like this." A voice from behind with a teasing tone. A very familiar voice. The ginger turned his head to the direction where the voice came from and a slim, tall brunette male was standing behind him with a very annoying smile.
"I bet you missed me Chuuya, don't deny it." Dazai said while chuckling. "And you still call me mackerel? You're a very funny slug."
Chuuya's anger raised. Why? Why does he have to meet with Dazai from all people? Moreover on this day?
"What are you doing here, shitty Dazai? Aren't you supposed to play the 'good guy' or god knows what?" His voice is filled with sarcasm and anger.
The taller man smirked. "You see... I can take a break too. I deserve it too."
"Yeah, I bet all you do is being useless all day." Chuuya rolled his eyes.
Dazai made a dramatic gasp. "Chibi, you wound me!" He says playfully.
The shorter man growls a little. "I'm being honest. And I'm pretty sure I'm right. And stop calling me Chibi, it's just... weird."
The brunette male just sat down beside him and picked up the glass of wine. "I thought you liked this little nickname." He sipped from the drink.
Chuuya's eyes narrowed. "Put that glass down." "Why should I?" "It's mine, not yours." Dazai grinned. "Now it's mine." He emptied the glass. "Eww, Chuuya, what kind of shit are you drinking? That's just... eww."
"Ha??! This is Château Cheval Blanc! And you call it shit??!" Chuuya knew that Dazai was only teasing him, but still, his love for wines was stronger, he felt like strangling the other man. "I finally found this here and you ruin my mood by coming here and call my wine shit!"
"Why were you even drinking today. Is there something that you celebrate?" Dazai asked in a calm tone while raising one eyebrow and smiling.
"Of course there is, today was the day when-..." But Chuuya didn't finish his sentence. He felt something strange. He was celebrating the day when Dazai left the Port Mafia. But now... he didn't felt like celebrating. Something weird. Why? In the past years he was happy that day, but now all he felt is emptiness. Something that needs to be completed. Or more like someone who completes him.
Dazai smirked. "Why did you stopped? Is something bothering you?"
The ginger male snapped out from his thoughts quickly and looked at the other in anger.
"Shut up! I... uhh... no, everything's fine! And why would you care? You freaking bandage waste..."
The tall brunette shrugged. "I don't care, I was just curious." He stood up.
Chuuya's eyes widened.
"Hey? Where- where are you going? You're gonna leave?" He didn't know why he was acting like this. It's not like he cares. No, he definitely doesn't care about Dazai. But then why was he calling him back so helplessly?...
Dazai turned his head towards him. "Yeah, I'm leaving, is there a problem?"
Chuuya fought with the urge to say 'yes, there is a problem', but that would be pathetic. He looked away. "No, there's no problem. In fact, I would be happy if you would just leave."
"It was good to see you again, Chuuya. Maybe we'll see each other more times." Dazai had a carefree smile when he left the bar. Looks like the meeting with his ex-partner didn't left an impact on him... But on Chuuya it definitely did.
The ginger male slammed his fist on the table in anger. He had a lot of emotions at once. He was confused, he didn't know what to feel. Anger, frustration, hatred... and sadness. Why would he be sad? The situation was ridiculous.
He stood up. Chuuya wanted to run after Dazai. But he didn't do it. He's not a dog who follows his master without thinking about the consequences. He clenched his fist in anger.
"Fucking Dazai... he ruined everything." With this last sentence he left the bar.
