(A/N: Guess who's FINALLY back? 🤪I am so sorry for taking this long to update. Life has been...life-ing. One thing after another, but here's the chapter! It's unedited so sorry if there are mistakes or inconsistencies. I am also going to start working on a new fic which will be an arranged marriage trope with gangrry (iykyk). Please vote and comment...give this story some love. It needs it!!)

As always please only read if you are 18 or older. Thank you!

Waiting in line at In-N-Out Burger, Harry had his hand resting on the back of Skye's neck, his fingers slightly underneath the collar of her shirt. He was trying to keep his mouth from twitching up into too big of a grin so as not to appear overly smug about what had just occurred in his bedroom with the beautiful girl standing next to him.

"What?" Skye teased him with a nudge to his arm with her shoulder.

His dimple popped up and he shied away from her, taking his hand off of her and slipping both into the pockets of his yellow hoodie. "Nothing...just happy to be here." He swallowed and licked his lips. "I'm hungry."

"Yeah, I bet." Skye giggled. "You've done some vigorous exercise today." Harry then slipped his hand around her waist and lightly tickled her side. He hadn't seen much of this cheeky side of her yet and he was loving it.

"Hmm...yeah and I think you need hydrated," he taunted back at her. "Get water instead of a fizzy drink."

Skye shook her head and leaned into him. "I'm getting a chocolate shake, thank you very much."

"Skye?"

Harry turned around first, observing the older man behind them wearing scrubs and a hospital tag hanging from the hem of his shirt. He was shorter than Harry, studying him up and down with a capricious look on his face.

Skye gasped and broke apart from Harry, threading her fingers through her hair and clearing her throat. "Dad? What are you doing here?"

Harry's heart rate picked up and his eyes widened for a split second once he'd heard that it was her father standing behind them He shifted his weight from side to side, his nerves getting the better of him as he prayed to all the deities that the man had not heard one syllable of his prior conversation with his daughter.

"Well, my secretary accidentally double booked my afternoon so I needed something quick," the man explained as he kept his eyes strictly on his daughter's face, acting as though Harry wasn't there. "I only come here when I'm in a pinch."

"Oh." Skye peered at the ground and bit her lip. "Do you want to go in front of us so you're not rushing?"

Her father pushed his glasses up further on the bridge of his nose before replying. "No, that's okay. I got here quicker than I thought I would."

"Okay." Skye pursed her lips. "Um, this is Harry, by the way."

Harry held his hand out to her father and smiled politely. "Nice to meet you, Dr. Cunningham."
