"I'm sure he's compensating for something, it has to be his small dick," one of the staff scoffed to her colleague in the elevator.
"Tell me about it, his anger issues is because of that, there's no way he's blessed to look like that and still have a good dick."
Scarlet internally rolled her eyes, the man with the 'small dick' in question was none other than her boss, the CEO of Stones Enterprise.
The elevator suddenly stopped and speak of the devil himself.
The two women froze in shock.
Cain didn't care, he walked into the elevator, hands in his pocket and face as blank as day.
"Miss Miller, fancy to meet you in here," he referred to his secretary, "write this down, my private elevator broke down, get someone to fix it, the coffee machine in my office won't make coffee and the air ventilation is wack, fix it all by tomorrow."
"Yes Mr Stones," Scarlet said, hardly blinking.
Standing at six-four, Cain was naturally taller than almost everyone he met.
His demeanour intimidated everyone except Scarlet, yes even in heels, her head was barely at his shoulders, but her attitude was that of a seven feet woman.
The two gossips were in shock, realizing they had been talking trash about him near his secretary.
Shooting her a pleading glance, they hoped she wouldn't risk their jobs, they hopped out of the elevator at the next floor.
"Cancel my meeting with Fred, I'll be going to see a game tonight," Cain ordered as they stepped out of the elevator to his office.
"I won't be able to do that sir, you already cancelled three meetings, one more and we could lose the deal."
"You're not to tell me what to do, I'm your boss."
"I'm afraid there has to be someone to put you in order, which is why your grandfather chose me," she said, not moved at all by the dominance in his tone that everyone seemed to fear.
In fact, she didn't break contact once, nothing about his green eyes terrified her.
He had the face of an angel but most called him a devil.
His perfect features seemed like they were carved by an artist, thick dark brows, long wavy hair that was mostly in a bun, and plump link lips.
He simply ignored her.
"What's on my schedule tonight?" He changed the topic.
"Meeting with your grandfather, I already picked your outfit, it's in your waiting room."
"Why?"
"Because I won't be able to make it tonight," she said.
Cain arched a brow, that was surprising. He knew one thing for sure, his secretary was married to her job.
"It's my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend," Scarlet said.
She knew her boss cared less but still she felt the need to put it out there.
"So I'm asking in advance for the rest of the evening off."
"Very well then, as long as you've done your job for the day."
"Settled."
She went into her office which was a small space carved out of his own, with a small demarcation barricading their desks.
Cain sat cross legged watching as she packed up for the day, her thick ass wriggling behind her as she took her exit.
Snap out of it, he warned himself, trying to focus on something other than her ass.
He would never view her that way.

Scarlet was barely out of her office when her best friend since college, Leslie, sent her a text.
It was an image.
She frowned at it before opening the content.
Alas it was none other than her boyfriend, Sam, kissing a blonde in a cafe.
'look what I just found!' the text read.
Scarlet couldn't believe her eyes.
Maybe it was true that this was just the first year of their relationship, and she didn't even have time for him, but she was planning on turning a new leaf from today, focus less on work.
She even took an early day off.
'i can't believe this loser.'
Her heart was hurt.
Her phone beeped and it was a call from Leslie.
"How can he cheat on me on our freaking anniversary day?"
"It's insane but can you blame him? You barely had time for him at all, always married to work, you're twenty five you need to live life more!" Her best friend groaned.
"So you're blaming me for his infidelity?" She wondered, "I wasn't even ready to date, you were the one who set us up together."
"Because you were too engrossed in work to focus on your life or relationship! Your asshole boss is overworking you to death." Leslie snapped at her, "you need to stop your addiction to work and start to focus on you, you're only young once."
Scarlet was wowed.
For the first time ever, she thought maybe Leslie had a point.
"You know what, fuck shit you're right, let's drink tonight, fuck work, fuck this bullshit."
With anger rising in her vein, she sent a text to her boss.
"I quit."
She drove back home, changed into the sluttiest outfit she owned.
She put on a black crop top that barely contained her busty chest, and coupled with a mini short that almost showed off her entire ass.
"Tonight, I'm going to get wasted for once."

She joined Leslie at the bar and started to drink away her sorrows.
After an hour had passed, she turned to her blonde bestie who was about her height, "I need to show that bastard what he's missing."
Too drunk to think properly, she took a photo of herself, her boobs almost spilling out of her shirt with her nips poking through.
She tagged the image, 'this is what you chose to miss, fuck you.'
Sent.
That should teach her bastard boyfriend not to cheat on her.

The next morning she woke up in her apartment with Leslie laying next to her.
There were clothes sprawled all over the bed.
She sat up with a headache.
"Fuck, how much did I have to drink last night?"
She picked her phone to check the time.
That was when she saw the text notification from her boss.
"Well that's one way to part from work?"
She clicked open the message with furrowed eyebrows.
She let out a scream as she realised in horror that she didn't text her boyfriend at all, her tits were on display for none other than Cain Stones.
