Mattheo Riddle + Y/n Nott

Chapter: 1

Theodore shakes you, "y/n, get up! We're going to be late!" You groan and roll over, "leave me alone" you mumble, "If I don't get you up Dad will" Theodore warns. That's enough to make you get up. "fine! I'm up, you can leave now." you gesture to the door "fine" Theodore says walking out the door. Honestly you where excited for Hogwarts, It gave you a chance to get out of your house and away from your Dad. You quickly get dressed, grab your suitcase and race downstairs, "took you long enough," y/d says frustrated. "sorry" you mumble, "are you ready?" y/m asks "yeah" she grabs yours and theodore's hands and apperates you to the train station. "have a good year." she says, she lowers her voice "and don't forget your task" "thanks" you mumble before getting on the train. "Come on y/n, you can sit with us." Theodore says, you enter the compartment. Sitting already are who you assume are theodores friends from his previous years "everyone, this is y/n nott, my twin" Theodores introduces you "y/n, this is Pansy, Blaise, Draco, and Enzo, " they all wave at you "hey" Pansy says "nice to have another girl, I'm Pansy Parkinson" you smile "hello" the Blondie smiles at you "Draco, Draco Malfoy" 

*Time skip to hogwarts*

Pansy shakes you awake. "hey y/n, you might want to put on your robes now." she says "okay thanks," you respond. you start to walk into the bathrooms when a cute brownhaired boy bumps into you "sorry" you mumble he doesn't look at you and keeps walking away. Later you walk back into the great hall "hey Pansy" "yeah?" "who's that?" you motion towards the boy you bumped into "Mattheo Riddle" she answers "Riddle?" you say suprised "Like Voldemort?" "yep, his son" Pansy whispers. You are suprised, you didn't expect Voldemort to send his only heir to hogwarts. 

The sorting begins after dinner. You aren't worried, you know you'll get Slytherian everyone in your family does. "Y/n Nott!" Dumbledore calls out. You stand up as he places the sorting hat on your head. "Slytherian!" the sorting hat yells, The Slytherians cheer as you join them at their table "The sorting hat didn't even have to think about that one y/n, you must be pure evil" Draco says, everyone laughs. "Maybe I am" you smile and sit down "just so you know there's a Slytherian party later in the common room if you want to come y/n" Enzo tells you "oh okay" you respond quietly. You probably won't go, you hate loud noises and big crowds. Your mom homeschooled you until hogwarts and despite being excellent at magic you have never had  real friends before. "no friends" you remind yourself, "finish the task and get home" "Huh?" Pansy asks "what did you say?" you didn't realise you where talking out loud "Oh no nothing" you reply hurriedly "okay" Pansy says confused "come on, we're roommates"

Later you can't sleep so you take a walk the the astromy tower. "ugh why is it so hard here" you mutter "Academically or socially?" you hear a voice say "Stupify!" you exclaim, you see Mattheo Riddle get thrown into the wall "oh my gosh" you say in shock " I'm so sorry" you go to help him up but he brushes you off "How did you do that?!" he asks in shock "do what?" you ask "use magic without your wand" he inquires confused "Wandless magic?" you say "my mom taught me, you don't do that here?" *Who is she?* "what?" you ask "I didn't say anything, they never taught us that here. Why didn't you come first year with your twin?" he asks "oh, uh my mom homeschooled me until 4th year" you answer "she needed Theo to come here for a-" you lower your voice "task, he made friends so mom let him stay I guess" Mattheo nods "do you have a task?" he asks. you nod, "What else do you know how to do?" he questions you "I can read minds" you answer. Mattheo laughs, you focus *Is she being serious?* "yes i'm being serious" you giggle "wha-" he stutters. "I can only hear if I listen for it, don't worry." you say with a smile "you can hear everyones thoughts all the time?" He inquires "not anymore thankfully," you say "I learned how to tune it all out, when I first started reading minds I thought I was going insane. I learned how to deal with it though" 

Later you walk back to your dorm when you hear talking "No, y/n is to remain at this school until you have concrete evidence about her status as a follower" you hear someone say "but sir-" a man stutters "y-you can't be serious about this!" you reconginize the voices Dumbldore and Filtch "I am Filtch" Dumbldore states "now please return to your room" suddenly a twig snaps underneath your feet "what was that?" Filtch exclaims "is there a student out of bed?" he laughs "you know what we do to those!" you turn and run away down the hallway "Ha I see ehm!" he yells "I see ehm!" you apperate back to your dorm ( i'm pretending you can do this at hogwarts for the sake of the book) "augh" you gasp out of breath "y/n! Where were you?!" Pansy exclaims "I went for a walk- but apperatly that's uh not allowed here" you say still out of breath "they could expel you for that y/n!" Pansy says shocked "well I won't get caugh next time I guess" you sigh "I'm tired, could we go to bed?" 'wh- fine" Pansy huffs, you reach over and turn out the light.
