A/N: Eh not the best chapter ever but it's more of a filler for now this is part 1 of 2. There is more to the chapter but I haven't finished it yet and wanted to get soemthing up for you guys asap so here it is. Expect part 2 soon. Good stuff to happen next chapter and maybe something unexpected in the next few!! :) Before I continue on with writing the next chap I want a vote. Cayden or Bradin? Who do you think Gabby will end up with and who do you want to see her end up with in the end? Not going to impact the story as I have a plan for it but I'm curious as to what you guys think :)

Walking through the familiar manicured lawn and up to the professionally designed slate patio I let out a sigh as I raised my fist and gave a couple of swift knocks. Biting my lip anxiously, I waited for the door to swing open. I hope they still remember me...

Pounding footsteps became louder and then the front door swung open producing a petite woman in her early forties, her graying hair prominent against the soft brown curls. She wore a mask of recognition mixed with shock. "Oh my word Cayden honey is that you?"

"Yes Mrs. Smith it's me."

"Dear you know better than to call me that. You know its Evelyn or Evie." She smiled as she ushered me into her quaint home. "Tim is out at work but he should be home in a few hours or so. Would you please stay for dinner dear? He would love to see you again after all this time and I would love to catch up."

"Of course I'll stay for dinner." I flashed her my heart melting smile as I plopped myself down onto the couch.

After handing me a glass of water she set down on the settee across from me and smiled warmly at me.

"So how are you and Tim doing on your own now that Gabby is gone?"

"Oh we love the peace and quiet although we sure do miss her tremendously." She giggled. "So why are you here dear? Are you on vacation with your parents?"

I wish I was on vacation with my parents...

"No I'm actually here by myself. I kind of...took a little break from the fame." I sighed.

"Does your manager know you took a break?"

"He doesn't but I'm sure they figured it out by now."

"May I ask why? If you don't mind that is dear."

"Oh no it's ok. It's just that...well pretty much the fame has just gotten to me. It's completely changed me as a person and the change wasn't a good one. I hate the person I have become. I was never arrogant or selfish before I became famous. I use to write and sing to myself or Gabby and that was the extent of my talent. I just can't stand it anymore. You would think me being so famous I wouldn't feel so lonely all the time..." I trailed off looking at my hands. It felt nice to finally talk to someone about my choice to run away.
