Hey guys! Sorry I haven't written in so long, but I felt like writing this later chapter, so here's a preview! Hope you like!

PREVIEW

The plane touches down on the landing strip in miniscule Fargo, North Dakota. There are only the five of us on the plane. Carter, Scarlett, Iris, Cecelia, and I all look around at each other. There’s an awkward silence, but it is broken as all our phones go off at once. There is a flurry of motion as we all pull out our phones and start to type in our codes to access the message. My inbox pops up on screen and I look around to see if anybody else got the e-mail.

I finally decide to pipe up, “I just got a message from Landake. He sent me the coordinates for Sauruman’s headquarters. He also told me not to be too pessimistic,” I say this last statement with a frown.

“He told me to try and cut down on puns. Where’s the fun in that?” Cecilia says this as she starts to sulk and slump down in her seat.

“I just got the coordinates,” says Scarlett simply and Iris nods in agreement.

“He gave me the coordinates and told me that our van is stocked with my favorite snack foods! Alleluia,” mutters Carter with a grin that shows off her perfect teeth. As everyone mutters their own grievances toward their own e-mail, my phone pings again and I pull it out.

It’s a message from Moorlyn. My eyes scan the display as I read the words thoroughly. Moorlyn says that Iris has all the equipment ready to go. She also says to trust my instincts which, she adds, are almost always right. Isn’t it just like her to tell me to trust myself? Ah well, there shall be hope for her yet. I stow my phone away and just as I lock the case, the voice of the pilot comes through the speakers.

“Hello ladies and welcome to…” He pauses and I hear him ask the flight the attendant this. “Where are we again?”

“Fargo, North Dakota,” she responds.

“Wait, North Dakota? I thought there was only one Dakota now!”

“No, sir, there are still two Dakota’s. Congress is still deciding whether to combine the two. They’ve been debating for fifty years, so it’s going to be another fifty before they decide, sir.”

“Why do they need two Dakotas, there’s barely anything in either of them! Combine the two and now South Dakota has a landmark too!”

“I know, sir. It’s not my fault.”

“True, oh well,” his voice comes fully back on the speakers, “Well, welcome, ladies, to rainy and cold Fargo, North Dakota, where all that you’ll ever see is cornfields and rocks!”

We all chuckle and gather up our stuff. We all get off the plane and see one of our FBI vans driving to meet us. Everyone clambers in, once we’re all seated I say, “Well, girls, let’s get this party started!”
