"Alright, were you thinking side or middle?"
"Uh, I was thinking side. But what you think?"
"Side would be cute." Saavia agreed, getting to work on her current clients quick weave.
Ever since the questioning, Saavia was a nervous wreck. She hadn't really been speaking to anyone, and was completely drowning herself in work.
She was gone from 6:00a.m. to 10:00p.m., doing at least 12 heads a day.
The money was great, but her mental health was taking a toll.
All she could think about was this case. She did not understand why her and Von were suspects for the case. She also did not understand why Von failed to mention his 'long talks' with Madison in empty rooms? Nothing made sense to her.
However, at the same time she felt herself avoiding Von. It was almost like half of her wanted answers, but the other half didn't. She was scared to know the truth. What if Von did have something to do with it? What if he's facing prison time? She couldn't go through that again. She was truly hoping for the best.
Her ringtone blaring through her AirPods brought her out of her thoughts.
"Hello?"
"I'm back in town girly, we gotta go out tonight."
"I don't know Jayda. I'm not really up for it."
"Oh girl boo. We HAVE to go. Baby been workin' my nerves. I need to go shake my ass somewhere. You doing hair?"
"Yea." Saavia mumbled.
"Let's leave at 11? I'll swing by to get you."
"What about another day-"
"Please, please, please Saavia? I do not want to spend another night in the house."
"Fine, I'll call you when I'm ready."
After ending the call, Saavia continued to finish her client's head.
45 minutes later she was finished, and now packing up her duffle bag.
"Aw yeah, this is so fire. You gone make me come to Chicago everytime I need my hair done?"
"You're so welcome." Saavia laughed.
"You mind I take a few pictures for Instagram?"
The girl instantly waved her over, sitting back in the chair.
"Thank you." Saavia instantly posted the photos to IG, knowing she would forget if she didn't post them now.
