Though Suri had pulled the words out of his mouth, in the back of his mind, Jungkook had known for a while he was in love with Jimin.Hell, he even told him he loved him when he had that rough night and fell asleep in his arms. But it hadn't registered until now. He said it out loud a few more times while they were nearing London, just to let it all sink in.
The moment the car pulled up at the hospital, Jungkook's nerves got the better of him.
"Easy there bro! We're supposed to pick someone up, not get you in the hospital..."
Jungkook almost fell out of the car as his legs moved faster than the rest of his him.
"Just promise you won't say anything alright!" Jungkook wiped his hands on his jeans, they were all clammy from the nerves.
"I won't tell anyone anything, just get your ass in there and bring your boy home!"
Jungkook smiled, 'your boy' that sounded good to him.
Quickly he walked into the reception hall, not wanting to come across to eager. He asked for Jimin at the reception and got directed to his room. His hands were shaking as he opened it.
"Are you alright sir?" the nurse asked.
He nodded and cleared his throat. The moment he opened the door he saw Jimin sitting on the side of the bed, nothing seemed to be wrong at first look.
"Jungkook!" Jimin yelled and got up to greet him. That's when he noticed Jimin's leg was covered in bandage. As he tried to hop over to him the best way he could. Jungkook let him fall into his arms and hugged him tight.
"Hey clumsy, what did you do?"
"It's not as bad as it looks actually. Nothing's broken, just some pulled muscles. I just have to be really careful for a while... The bandage is just for support."
"Are you sure your alright?" he asked, his eyes roaming over his body to make sure he was alright.
"Yes, though I can kiss the role in 'Chicago goodbye..." Jungkook kissed him on the top of his head!
"So sorry Min... you'll get another chance, I'm sure you will!"
Jimin gave him another tight hug. " I missed you, you know?"
A smile crept in Jungkook's face. " I missed you too beautiful!" He let go of Jimin and grabbed his hand.
"Let's get you home alright? Do you have everything?"
Jimin nodded. " I didn't bring much and had it all with me when I passed out." Jungkook stopped walking.
"You passed out?! You didn't tell me that!"
"Because I knew you would get all worried, it's nothing, I just hit my head on the floor a bit too hard... I'm fine honest!"
But Jungkook didn't hear all that and before Jimin realised what he was doing, Jungkook lifted him up in his arms.
"I'm not a cripple...I can walk, slowly, but still!"
Jungkook didn't reply and kept walking. " Do you need to sign some forms or are you all done?" he asked.
"Done. Now could you please put me down?"
He shook his head and walked past the reception and into the parking lot, where Suri was waiting for them.
"How is my favourite clumsy boy?" Suri asked as they approached.
"Fine! Not that your brother seems to believe me..."
Jungkook slowly put him down on his feet. "Let me get the door for you.." he said. Jimin rolled his eyes at Suri who laughed.
"Be grateful that he cares about you Min, otherwise you'd be stuck here on your own"
"I know Suri. I care about him too. Very much, he's the best friend any guy could wish for!"
And by saying that, Jungkook's mood changed, he closed the door as soon as Jimin was safely in the car and slammed his own door shut. He turned on the radio loud enough for them not having to talk. It was a long drive to back home when Suri was sure Jimin had fallen asleep, she turned down the radio.
"You alright Kook?" She asked.
Jungkook shook his head. " Told you get sees me as his friend..."
"You don't know that Kook. Just talk to him alright?"
Jungkook shrugged. " Not now..."
"Then tomorrow..."
"We'll see."
When they got back home, they said goodbye to Suri and Jungkook carried Jimin upstairs to his own room. He put him down on his bed as he went down again to get his luggage.
Jimin waited for Jungkook to come back as he sat down on his bed. Jungkook reappeared in the door opening, dropping Jimin's bags on the floor.
" First off, I can walk myself Kook, secondly, why am I in your bedroom?"
Jungkook turned away mumbling something about cleaning the sheets before he disappeared again. Jimin got up and carefully put some weight on his right foot. It hurt more than he thought it would. Hopping on his left foot he made it to the hallway. He glanced into his bedroom as he saw Jungkook pulling the sheets off the bed.
Jimin couldn't help but smile, thinking of how Jungkook had slept there the previous nights, he almost wished he wasn't putting on clean sheets. But embarrassed with his own thoughts he let Jungkook continue.
Going downstairs was even more difficult. Holding onto the railing he carefully hopped down one step at a time. When he finally made it downstairs, he hopped to the kitchen and opened the fridge.
" What do you think you are doing?" he heard from a voice behind him.
Jimin sighed and turned around.
"Eat? Can't a guy get something to eat?"
Jungkook walked towards him, lifted him up and put him up on one of the chairs.
" What was it you wanted to eat?"
"'Honestly Kook, I'm not disabled...stop hovering over me!"
Jungkook sank down till he was on the same eye level as him.
" Jimin, listen to me alright? I'm going to take care of you whether you like it or not. So get used to it. And before you get all cranky over it, let's just say it goes with the letter I picked!" A smile appeared on Jimin's face.
" You didn't tel me you got a new letter already!"
" That's because I did that on Sunday, and you were too busy being clumsy and getting yourself into the hospital!"
He playfully touched Jimin's nose with his finger before standing up again.
" Now what was it you wanted to eat?"
