Isabella

I ran towards my mother, who cried as soon as she noticed me. My tears which were threatening to fall, I managed to just sob all the tears in. 'It's okay, we will get through this.'

"Isa.. your dad was going for the delivery and all.. all of a sudden... a car came and... and hit him." My mother could barely talk in between her sobs, I cooed her, placing my hand on her head, bringing her comfort, and saying the same words to myself over and over again.

'it's okay, we will get through this.'

"Nothing will happen to him Mom... don't worry. I am here, it's alright. Calm down." I told her to calm down when my world was crashing upside down.

I let go of my mother, made her seat, and brought her water. I glanced at the white-framed glass door where my father was battling between life and death. I sighed and sat down a bit far from my mother so that I didn't have to hear her sobbing mess. My eyes trailed off between the glass door and the red light above the door. He was brought to the ICU immediately. I closed my eyes trying to rest my brain which has numerous thoughts about so many things that I can't count. As soon as I closed my eyes all the horror peaked in.

"Dad? Where is Rian? Why isn't he with you?" I glanced between him and the person in a white uniform behind him. A nurse. My dad ignored me. There was a red stain on his nose, neck, and the light blue shirt he wore before taking Rian my Little brother out for grocery shopping. But my dad came back only. There's no sign of Rian. My dad went inside looking in horror. He was staring at somewhere I didn't know about. The nurse guy sighed and crouched down towards me, He had a gentle yet sad smile. 'Oh, I know about this smile.'

"Sweetheart, do your mom and dad live together?" I shook my head as a no. I was visiting my Dad for a week. "I see, so do you have your mother's contact info?" I blinked for a while and nodded before giving him my mother's number. He dialed it and held his phone close to his ears. But he looked at me again and gave me his smile... downward smile. My vision jumped between my dad and the nurse guy. I just spotted a van behind him. While he was talking to my mother, I walked up to the van. The door was open so I easily got inside. There's a bed. A hand sticking out. There's a bracelet made of pearls on the hand. I know it was made of pearls because I made it... for Rian. My stomach dropped. The face was hidden with a white sheet which was stained in red like my dad was.

Blood.

I flipped the sheet off. Now I see why the nurse was giving me a downward smile.

Been a month since I figured out my younger brother who was barely 5 years old was dead. Half because of a car accident and half because of my father's ignorance. I am in my room. My father came to visit me. But my mother won't let him. I also want to meet my father but they are arguing. Loud. I am doing my homework or more like trying to. But I can't focus on it. There's a loud noise outside my door. I am afraid to open my door as well. As if I will fall into a hole if I open my door. But my world halted when I suddenly heard a crashing sound. I ran toward my door. All my fears of falling into a hole washed away as soon as I heard it. I twisted my door knob and met with the sight of my father holding a half-crashed vase. My mother's favorite vase.  And an unconscious body. My father huffed out in anger, frustration, or whatever it was.

Blood, blood, blood.

This is the second time I have seen my father painted with blood. Like the day my brother died.

My father noticed my presence. And when I look at him in the eyes. I don't know him. This is not my father. There's no soul in my father's eyes. The soul left when my brother died. My father keeps looking at me without moving a single muscle.

He won't hurt me.

I ran to my mother and took off my hoodie that was gifted by my father. I wrapped it around my mother's head and it was drenched in blood as well. For some reason everything that was my father's is painted in red. That's when I heard my father finally speaking out. Something, I am sure he has been telling to himself continuously like a maniac.

"It's okay, we will get through this."

"It's okay, we will get through this."

It's okay, we will get through-

"ISA!"

I jolted back to presence. I glanced at my surroundings only to meet with Ava and my mother. The mother who was drenched in blood once.

"The operation was successful."

'We got through this.'

I sighed in relief. My mother passed me the water. And I drank it silently. I wiped my mouth and smiled at my mother. "He is fine, don't worry." I got up and entered the cabin where my father was taken for a rest while I was in my past trapped with memories. And all my memories are painted with Red.

With Blood.

Jungkook

Blood.

I landed another punch on my opponent which caused his nose to bleed. It's a sight to see. Because in this field, If you see blood dripping down your opponent, it means you are winning. And I was born to win. My opponent's clumsy punch came flying to me as I easily dodged that and kicked his stomach. He fell on his knees and groaned in pain while I grinned satisfied with the blood. To me, Red was the art and color of satisfaction and a win.

"The match is getting very intense as Darcel King doesn't seem to get up from his place, The kick indeed left a huge scar on his abdomen!!"

The host spoke out loud while I could smell my gold belt again for the 47th time. However, my opponent this time was a tough one as no one ever was able to get up after that one blow but he was getting up. goodness. I sighed lazily, knowing well one more punch and my dude would be a goner. And that's what happened. He landed flat on his stomach with my punch right at his jaw. I guessed I accidentally messed with any of his nerves I guess. The opponent didn't didn't wake up with the hosts 1, 2, and.. 3...

"And the winner of today's match is...JEON JUNGKOOK."  Like heck yeah.

"Good play today Jungkook. Your next match is in two weeks and this time the opponent is much stronger so you might need to lose some weight to match his as well." I listened to my manager speak as I wiped off my sweats. A cold shower is what I need. But a sudden thought crossed my mind.

"Did she reply to us?" I asked.

"Who? Oh! Do you mean your physician, Rio Isabella? No, still no response from her." I scoffed. How dare she?

"Bring my phone." He did what I asked for. I checked my message. I had her number saved in my phone cause why not? She is my new prey after all. However, seeing no reply I got up ready to take the longest shower of my life. When suddenly my phone's notification popped.

I glanced at my phone with lazy eyes.

"I accept it." Three words from my prey and my lips twitched a smirk. Of course, you will accept it.

"But I have conditions." She texted further. And my smirk grew wider.

"Ruwon prepare my car. Gotta settle down some conditions."
