Creator: The Last Shadebender

Chapter one

Creator's Pov.

There  was a time when I was just a peacekeeper, walking the line between good and evil, there was a time when I was just a destroyer, fully enveloped in the darkness, and there was a time when I was just a Creator, held together by a false light. These days, I do as the humans do... I take in all of these things. I decide what action to take and I execute a plan. I learned these Ideals, not from the humans in the first Dimension, but from an old Firebender named Iroh.

Seventy years after the Hundred year war, I met the new Avatar, slightly after the rest of the world perhaps.

Republic City is the greediest, dingiest, dirtiest, most disgusting, center of industry in the world, but it was my city.

I had gone to the market to pick up some supplies, when I literally ran into a young woman. She was carrying several large baskets of food, and there happened to be a polar-bear dog, following her.

"I'm sorry, are you alright?" I asked

"I'm fine ma'am, I hope I didn't hurt you" she replied

suddenly I felt an unfortunately familiar presence and looked up, there was a police airship right above us

"Sorry, kid. Gotta run." I said, but when I started down the alley, I turned around and said "Good luck Avatar."

"How do you know who I am?" she asked

"I know a lot more than that, Korra. I have to go."

I ran down the Alley and left the poor, confused Avatar alone.

Korra's Pov.

"It was crazy Tenzin, it was like she could see right through me, like she knew everything about me." I said

"And you're sure she had the necklace?" Tenzin asked

"Yeah, she was walking down the street, practically fondling it."

"I was hoping she hadn't come back."

"It's nice to see you too Tenzin." The stranger said, appearing behind Tenzin

"Who are you?" I asked

"Just a wanderer, shrouded in darkness. Tenzin and I are old friends."

"I wouldn't say 'friends' exactly, acquaintances, perhaps." Tenzin replied

"Why did you disappear earlier? Were you running from the police airship?" I asked

"Not the Airship, but the woman in it." The stranger said

"I'm lost."

Tenzin sniggered, but both the stranger and I smacked him.

"Let's just say, Lin Beifong is an interesting person, who really doesn't like me."

Creator's Pov.

After teasing Tenzin a little, I decided to go talk to Korra.

"Hey, kid. I want to talk to you." I said

"Oh, what do you need?" Korra asked

"First, I'd like to tell you my name, which is Aleyna by the way, I can't have you thinking of me as 'the stranger' now can I?"

"No, I suppose not. It's nice to meet you, Aleyna."

"And you as well, Korra. I'm sorry about running off earlier, I really don't want to talk to Lin."
