The night at the bar, Caleb and Lucy are having a good time, drinking non stop while talking about their lives.
The bartender tells them that they have had enough, and they need to leave or else. So they do.
They go out through the back door, where both of their cars are parked.
Lucy asks Caleb if they should go back to her house, or if they should split their ways and go back to their own house.
Lucy pulls out her phone to call an Uber, but she was so drunk she couldn't hold her phone for more than a few seconds, she dropped her phone but Caleb managed to catch it.
Lucy asks for her phone back, but Caleb puts it in his back pocket. Caleb says that he had such a good time, but this moment is not good for him.
Lucy asks "Why did you not enjoy today?"
Caleb's say, "No, but you're not."
Caleb puts a rag on Lucy's mouth, preventing her from breathing, after she fainted, She gets put into the back of Caleb's car.
13 hours later, she wakes up in a room, tied to a chair.
Caleb walks in, "You're finally awake." He says, while eating bacon.
Lucy asks "Where am I?"
Caleb answers "Out in the middle of nowhere."
Lucy asks him, "Is this why you hit on me at the bar, so you can make me a victim?"
Caleb answers "No, you were just a happy opportunity. I was there scoping out Armstrong. Honestly, I don't get what Rosalind sees in this guy.
But eh, who am I to judge? We all have our fetishes."
Lucy asks, "Are you going to bury me in Rosalinds third unmarked grave?"
"Maybe, idk yet." Caleb answers.
Before Caleb walks out of the room, Lucy asks "Can I get water?"
Sure, I'm not a monster." Caleb says.
Caleb gives Lucy water to drink.
"eh eh eh, not too much. Don't be greedy now."
Before Caleb can walk out of the room again, Lucy asks another question.
"Hey, what's with the tattoo? Is this some kind of ownership mark?"
Caleb says, "No, it's not for me silly, it's for you. To get you to face the reality of your death."
It's something we barely get in life, Clarity.
And like that, Caleb goes out of the room.
Lucy is left there, Nervous and upset, because he is right. She's going to die soon, and she has to face it, but she can't.
Lucy is crying quietly at this point, but she hasn't given up, not yet.
After about 3 minutes of trying to free her hands, the chair arms breaks, her hands are now free, now it's time for her legs.
She's able to untie her legs in under 30 seconds, and she makes a run for it.
She makes it out the front door, she is now outside.
She makes a run for it but there is tripwire surrounding the house.
She ends up tripping because of it. And Caleb catches up to her.
Caleb sprays pepper spray into Lucy's eyes, which causes her eye pain.
And then he punches Lucy.
He takes Lucy back inside, at this point pisses off, he takes Lucy far away from the house. After a 30 minute walk, they finally arrive where Caleb has the barrel ready.
Caleb: go ahead inside now.
Lucy: I'm not going to do that
*Caleb points a gun at Lucy*
Caleb: you know, everyone has said that, but once I point this at them, they go inside and you know why? It's because in the barrel, there's life.
But out here, there's only death.
Now get inside the barrel.
Lucy goes inside the barrel, and once she's inside, Caleb closes the lid of the barrel trapping her in, and then he pushes the barrel into a big dirt pit, then fills up the hole again, burying Lucy alive.
Caleb goes back to the house, leaving Lucy all by herself.
At this point, Lucy is sobbing, she knows she is not going to survive, but she breaths as little as possible, just hoping that the station can find her as soon as possible.
Back with Caleb, he drives into the city, now targeting Armstrong.
He finds Armstrong at the cemetery, and once Armstrong sees him, he immediately points his fun at Caleb.
"Where's Lucy?" Armstrong asks Caleb.
"I'll show you, if you come with me." Caleb responds.
Armstrong has no other choice but to go with Caleb in hopes of saving Lucy.
As Armstrong leads to Caleb's car, Caleb drops a phone and a picture of Lucy in the barrel reading, "Now I have 2 cops"
Back at the house, Armstrong sees a barrel in the house, which he runs towards in hopes of looking for Lucy.
To his surprise, it's empty.
"Where's Lucy?" Armstrong asks.
"Out there somewhere." Caleb says.
"Now it's your turn to get in that barrel." Caleb says.
As Caleb keeps talking, Armstrong sees Nolan and Nyla pulling up.
After 30 seconds of Caleb talking nonstop, suddenly a shot is fired, Caleb got hit.

Armstrong: No! He's the only one who knows where Lucy is!
Reinforcements arrive and they all go on the search to find the site.
Sheriff, LAPD, swat, patrol everyone is here looking for Lucy.
They all separate in hopes of a better chance to find the gravesite.
1 hour later, no luck.
It's a big area of land, even with all of them separated looking in different parts the odds of finding Lucy are pretty slim.
2 hours later, still no luck.
Everyone is becoming hopeless, Lucy is probably dead by now, but if she is still alive she has got 1 more hour tops.
Tim and Jackson starts tearing up, hoping that they find Lucy soon.
Nolan is more concentrated on finding Lucy, he is trying his best not to tear up either but he can't hold on for much longer.
1 hour passes by very slowly, but by know there is no way Lucy has survived, they pronounce her dead from carbon dioxide poisoning and charge Rosalind with accomplice of murder of a police officer.

A week passes by after her death.
Tim, Jackson, and Nolan visit her grave every morning before shift starts. They take turns speaking to her about their life. Tim says how proud of her he is. Nolan talks about his life and his previous shift, and Jackson just spends his time crying about how "every morning when I go into your room, you're not there."
Tim and the other 2 rookies have grown a tight bond from just every morning when they visit the graveyard.
Tim gets assigned a new rookie, but now he takes it easy with every rookie he gets, because he doesn't want to have a repeat on what happened.
Tim constantly blames himself for Lucy's death, but there's nothing he can do.
