Johnnie's confusion

(this is johnnies Pov)

Johnnie was wondering to himself while the morning light creeped into his room. He was trying to figure out what jake said the night before, he thought he heard something rather questionable, but he felt like that maybe he just wanted him to say something like that. Johnnie blushes to himself and thinks.

Johnnie tries to think about anything else but why was his mind only focusing on Jake and how he acted last night. Johnnie couldn't help but feel like he wanted to go talk with him to see if everything was alright or maybe...

𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴

Johnnie plants his hands over his face in embarrassment then forces himself out of his bed. Johnnie wanted to be in Jakes presence again, when johnnie reached jakes bedroom door his hand just froze over the handle. He could hear jakes faint voice inside... 

Jake: "Why am I acting this way? Should I just hide the way I feel? Won't he question at some point?" Jake sighs. Johnnies heart skipped a beat, what could he mean by that? Johnnie feels a tickle in his nose and sneezes loudly. 

"Oh shi-" Johnnie says in a whisper as he starts to sweat, he hears Jake's footsteps start to come closer, Johnnie looks around in complete panic, he didn't want Jake to know that he heard his private conversation to himself. Johnnie attempts to dash back to his room but as soon as Jake opened the door Johnnie tripped and completely ate shit face first into the floor. Jake couldn't help but burst out laughing while johnnie just laid there in defeat.

"Are you okay dude?" Jake says breathlessly while he gets his last laugh out. Johnnie lets out a painful groan.

"Here, let me help you up you dumbass" Jake bends down a little and reaches his arm out, Johnnie rolls over his face all red from embarrassment and takes Jake's hand. When their hands meet it felt like both of their heartbeats synced and a wave of electricity sparked when their eyes both flash at each other. Johnnie gets back on his feet and they both just look at each other for a while when all of a sudden Jake seemed to be getting closer to Johnnie, Jake's eyes kept shooting looks at Johnnie's lips.

"WELL UH THANKS FOR HELPING ME GET UP MAN" Johnnie breaks the silence with a beet red face, Johnnie lets go of Jake's hand that he realized he's been holding this whole time. He pats Jake's shoulder in a very awkward way and scurries off in a rush to his room feeling confused while Jake stood there watching him with nothing but disappointment for himself.
